Naw bro... Golden boy could of done right by JMM... After KO'ing Diaz they could of waited for the Pac-Hatton fight... And, the fight the winner that would of gave him millions and be a more winnable fight... Especially if Hatton would of won... And, it would of been easy to make since both are with Golden boy... Or if Pac would of won which he did by the way... You could of had a trilogy which would of gave him milliions it would of done big numbers... All they had to do was wait one day... One day... No but they announce a Floyd fight on the same day...

JMM had the PPV slot lined up for May 1st, then they moved him for Shane-Floyd. Yes of course is a bigger, better, more entertaining fight but why not have it in April? And, leave that May PPV date for JMM so he could get more money? Or, why not have JMM fight in June and give him a PPV date so he could get more money?

Why putting him in against a young guy that you barely signed? Why Khan? Especially since Schafer went and started mentioning future Khan fights against Judah and Floyd? So Golden boy already has come out and said who they want to win? Why not have JMM fight Hatton? PPV? It would be more money and a winnable fight? But, no they going to put him on reg HBO against a guy who they(GBP) have a bigger interest...

I don't care what nobody says... Golden boy did and are continuing to do him wrong...

I cant knock JMM for fighting Khan. He'll get paid to fight someone with a glass jaw.
Wait wait, as a promotional company ain't you suppose to do right for your fighters? And, you suppose to get the biggest money available for your fighter? Is that not what Hatton brings? Or, you saying that Khan brings him more money than Hatton? Fuck Golden boy for that ****... Like if you don't see nothing wrong with this picture then I don't know what else to tell you...

Disgusting. They're keeping Khan away from Maidana and replacing him with an aging featherweight legend. It's sad that they're doing this, he should fight Maidana, Bradley or even Victor Ortiz. No respect for Marquez at all.

I get what you are saying but JMM can choose to turn down Khan. He doesnt HAVE to fight him.

Bro I think JMM will knock Khan the **** out to be honest. I hate when it comes to JMM he gets babied by his fans. He chose to fight Floyd. He chose to fight at 140 pounds. Thats all him.

Hatton doesnt know what hes going to do. Just like JMM opened his mouth about Floyd he can easily do the same with Ricky.

JMM is a GROWN MAN. He doesnt have to fight Khan. Its up to him to sign the contract.

i dont think Golden Boy is disrespecting JMM. Most people still rank JMM in their P4P list and he has already stated that he is not going back to 135 so who else is he going to fight. if he wants the big check he gots to fight a contender. If people the Marquez is shot then drop him from your P4P list.

You got a point, bottom line, it's his call.

But we as outsiders can see what's going up there, even Nacho knows it, he's old and they're using him as a stepping stone for their upcoming star. As you say, he's a grown man and everything but he is kind of stubborn, like when he decided to fight Mayweather, two weight classes above where he was, or like when he went to Indonesia to fight John when he didn't need to do it.

At least he deserves to retire with dignity, you know they could match-up against more favorable competition and both GBP and Marquez could still making some money, but no they want to milk the residuals of his name.

Honestyly at almost 37 I think hes just looking for paydays. He fought Floyd for cash.
