I watched it because I loved PRIDE, loved the fighters, the drama, the action.
UFC makes boring fights. since PRIDE died in 2007, MMAs been declining, and ive been watching less and less. dont get me wrong, I still love MMA, and I watch all the events, but im not a rapid hardcore fan anymore because MMA has lost that fire it once had.
about mid 2000 when ufc hit mainstream right?

It has **** all to do with his religion you ******, Naseem was ****** and he had armies of English fans that followed him around the world. Amir Khan has no fans here cos we have our eyes open to the **** cherry picking that has gone on from day 1!!! Fighting shot, small men does not win you fans or prove yourself championship worthy.

Naseem was lucky he boxed in the era before 9/11. 9/11 changed everything.

You are not right, don't see you correcting me on Khan't's cherry picking.... He is left with 1 'fan' like you because of his ducking and diving and that is only cos you want to ride him.

At the time Khan was disliked because of the blatant cherry picking and total avoidance of the vibrant British Lightweight matchups that where availible to him in the forms of veteran Thraxton and up and comer Murray, both of which where being talked up as the people he needed to fight after teh Earl victory, instead he fought St Clair (coming off 2 losses at SFW), Gomez (Another SFW) and got his ass handed to him by an unknown slugger who's turned out to be nothing more than a journeyman.

Add into the fact that he was already on PPV while fighting Super Featherweights and Schoolteachers and there are plenty of legit reason outside race for people to prefer a genuine Legend over him.

**** me, Gary St Clair i forgot about him, dude was about 3' tall. And Khan n Warren were saying how great he was, just like Salita, they tried to feed us that he was a top contender.
