I was at the fight myself. Barrera is loved cuz he's a legend, plain and simple. People dont know khan very well, we all been watchin Barrera for a very long time. It was just great to get the chance to see him in the flesh, thats why i flew down from Scotland to see him. The fight was a joke it should have been stopped in the first round, but regardless im very thankfull i got to see the great Marco antonio barrera.
Just watched Barrera vs Khan for the first time.

Well, i've been around boxing since I was a kid.
I watched Barrera vs Hamed live when I was like 12 years old because everyone in my family loved Barrera... including the pregnant women.
but I only saw it as a Mexican guy vs a clown in leopard trunks. it wasn't until about a year ago that i got really into it. before that, I was a hardcore MMA fan. but MMA is declining, fast. the talent is declining, and well as the quailty of fights. its becoming a hump fest because of the way the UFC has MMA in a stranglehold. if you arent in the ufc, you arent making any money. if you lose, you're out of the ufc. so everyone is afraid to lose, and fights really safe and boring.
but anyway, yeah. im pretty new to boxing. ive been working myself up, watching all the classics, and learning some history.
hell, i got to train with roger mayweather before i even knew who he was lol... good times.Comment

no no no no.
I watched it because I loved PRIDE, loved the fighters, the drama, the action.
UFC makes boring fights. since PRIDE died in 2007, MMAs been declining, and ive been watching less and less. dont get me wrong, I still love MMA, and I watch all the events, but im not a rapid hardcore fan anymore because MMA has lost that fire it once had.Comment
