How would Calzaghe have done against a young Jones and Hopkins?

Calzaghe wouldn't be able to handle Jones Jr's reflexes, and his feather fists wouldn't hurt him at all. I predict a mid or late stoppage, and possibly a KO. Before he moved down to fight Tarver the first time, Jones Jr was deadly. He could have beaten Hopkins and Calzaghe on the same night.

As for Hopkins, I could see him either easily outpointing Calzaghe or stopping him late. His counter punching style would prove very effective, and I can see him landing the famous DLH stopping body punch to end the fight.

I would've loved to have seen Hopkins-Calzaghe in 1997. Not that I ever thought of it then but that would've been an incredible fight.

There's no "arguably" about it. Hopkins was in total control of that fight and won eight rounds AND had a knockdown, but the two white judges found a way to steal the fight for him because they wanted to take revenge for the comments Hopkins made before the fight. Calzaghe is trash.

I mean this with all sincerity. He would have gotten flat out spanked. These guys dropped him on his ass in their 40s. Warren could have been locked up for putting Calzaghe in there with them around 2002. He knew it.

Not sure about Jones but he beats Hopkins. His handspeed, combination punching and angles would give Hopkins fits, he outworks Hopkins to a UD.
