He stopped the rematch from happening with Roy Jones back in the early 2000's by pricing himself out. Jones was the belt holder, the more popular fighter and he had a win over Bhop so Bhop should of accepted a 60/40 split.
James Toney:
Bhop pulled out of a Toney fight in 2003 after the contracts had been drawn up and were ready to be signed.
Joe Calzaghe:
Bhop has called out practically every JMW when he was at MW, so I see nothing wrong with a SMW calling him out. He turned down an offer of 2.5m-3m depending on your source. He was getting no where near that amount fighting his mandatories
Chad Dawson:
His been calling out BHop for a while now
Ive posted all the links confirming these points in this thread.Last edited by General Zod; 02-06-2010, 10:23 AM.

No it wasnt, the terms were agreed to and the contracts drawn up, but Hopkins demanded another 3m, which is why the fight didnt happen.

near the end of the piece, jones talks about his possible next 3 opponents, "nigel benn's conquerer sugar boy malinga or virgil hill or michael nunn"

EDIT- hold on as i search for ****In a similar situation as with the "legends," a fight with Roy Jones Jr. never came to be. Jones won the Super Middleweight title in 1994 when Nunn lost his Super Middleweight title that same year.
"They offered us $125,000 and he [Roy Jones] was going to get 3 million" says Morgan with laugher in his voice. "There was no way Mike was going to take that kind of money when he was just as good or better than Jones."
From my understanding it is Jones who makes the fights and then sells them to HBO.
