I think we all understand what is going on. Khan has been protected throughout his career and I agree with you only idiots can't see that. There was a hope that that policy would alter after Khan split with Warren. A lot of his fans hoped that the pattern would change but it won't.They were blaming Warren but the rot runs much deeper than that. Then there are those who lay the blame against Roach his management but not him. They also say he is young ,too young to play the role of a real champion but fail to take into account Alexander is younger than him and has taken on his duties as champion. Providing he has enough gullible fans who will pay to watch mismatches there will be just more canned fights and hype.His handlers know what we all know that when he gets hit flush it is all over so they are going to do their best to make sure that never happens.Comment

I don't understand why people think that Khan will walk through Marquez. Yes Khan is tall, taller than Mayweather, but he doesn't use his boxing skills to create range and keep his opponent at bay. Khan is also fast, but we know how Marquez can use his counters to negate speed. I just see Khan being very good, but very green. Do you really want to throw your green cash cow to a viley veteran that is a master boxer?Comment

Boxing fans are so fickle...everyone keeps saying that hbo and gbp are disrespecting marquez, but its every fan who thinks this is an easy fight that are. Marquez-khan is a great fight, a really dangerous fight for both guys.
Why not wait to see how the fight plays out before you guys write marquez off as a shot fighter. He might be past his best, on the downward slope, but I genuinely think he has enough to beat an inexperienced 23 year old with vulnerabilities. Khan has only had 2 fights at world level, lets face it salita is not world class, and now khan is going in against one of the best of his generation. Just because he is coming off a loss you write him off? thats crazy...I remember a lot of morons on here that thought margarito would crush mosley cos of what happened with cotto and mayorga respectively, and margarito got out-hussled, out-boxed, out-fought, you should never count these older guys out especially when there as good as marquez and mosley.
This is a tough fight, both fighters have a lot to gain, everyone is acting like gbp are throwing marquez to the wolves, but he has the chance to become a 4-weight world champ, which NO mexican fighter has accomplished. If marquez hadn't fought mayweather and made his debut at 140 and beat say a top 10 guy instead and now this fight was happening then I bet very very few would be picking khan, but like I said boxing fans are fickle. As a fan of boxing and a fan of both fighters I can't wait for this and il be happy no matter which guy takes it.Comment

This is ******d, Marquez will take care of khan. Marquez is still a force to be reckoned with his only true loss is against the best lb 4 lb who was tooo too big for him. In no way is he z shot fighter.Comment
