Ummm....for 1, it was 24 days not 21 Manny wanted. For 2, 24
days wasn't sufficient time to catch someone cheating. For 3,
Miguel Cotto couldn't even understand why Manny Pacquiao didn't
want to take the tests and fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mosley just
accepted it and he is a proven cheater and I bet you Cotto would
have done it too. For some reason, the great Manny Pacquiao didn't
want to? Why do you think that is? I can only thing of two reasons
...... either he's juicing or knows he can't beat Floyd. Why else would
he turn down that much money and a chance to prove without a
doubt that he is the best?

Another reason the 14 days is significant is because Freddie opened his mouth and said a week would be okay trying to call mayweathers bluff but that didn't work. They finally came down to 14 days and still said no. Now that's interesting. So what does everyone have to say about that?

There is another one called pride or ego, take your choice. The same thing that Floyd has. Pride and ego would not let him accept that Pac's exceptional performance is anything but drug-induced. Floyd just met someone that he could not bully in the negotiation table.

Then why does one camp act like they will accept and then when the bluff is called they say oh wait manny is training hard 14 days before the fight so he cant do it? Not saying he's cheating but thats what happened during negotiations. Freddie tried to say they would be good with a week and then they go back and change it.

Manny fans and supporters continue to make excuses on why Manny
backed out of the Floyd fight like it wasn't his fault. I like watching
Manny fight too but it is what it is. He walked away from the table
without putting his signature on the contract that means the fight
not happening was on him.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. In the Phillipines there isn't the level of steroid scandals that we have here in the US so a native to that country would probably react differently than a native American. Throw cultural differences on top of the egos, well we know what happens.

Both parties were at fault, Floyd for throwing in the stipulation and Pac for not agreeing. I think we'll be better off in the end waiting till later this year. They're be more on the table and more time to promote and for both fighters to train.

I agree that it shouldn't be a landslide for either guy.

It's a popularity contest it's not really about boxing cause if it was Floyd would be the landslide winner cause I dont think Manny would've come up to 47 if Floyd wouldn't have retired. Floyd is still unbeaten but although Manny's record shows wins over Marquez everybody questions those wins so how can a man who refuses to settle his own controversies be anybodies fighter of the decade? What great champion left business unfinished with a fighter who is also a current champion? Every great fighter wants immediate rematches when a fight result is questionable except Manny.

NO. Floyd was forced to take Mosley because Pacquiao backed
out of the fight and Mosley was the next biggest $ fight.

That's not what I asked you, specifically who else would Mayweather have fought, if not Mosley? What other options did he have if he was looking to fight a credible opponent?

Who cares about who won an award or not? That shows that your
more of a PACVESTITE than I am a *****. Not once did I down play
Manny's award, I just said, he should have man'd up and fought Floyd
to prove he was the best. Why are you Pac fans always so emotional?

I'm gonna assume everyone here can add and subtract? Here's the facts, Floyd is the biggest draw in boxing! Floyd will make 25-30 million for the Mosley fight while Mosley will make around 15. Manny is making 10 mill for Clottey while CLottey is only making 1 million. Floyd made 15 for Marquez. Manny will never have a successful 24/7 without Floyd but every 24/7 Floyd does will be very successful. Floyd could've chosen many opponents but always planned to fight Shane anyway why is that hard to understand. Floyd/Cotto would've done a minimum of 1.8 PPV buys.

Is this one of one of those who sells the most records argument?

Are you following me around wilth old posts? Ha ha! Means I'm
really crushing you guys. I don't even think at 147 or before
Marg that Cotto would have beat Manny when I come to think
about it because I always saw the flaws in Cotto but also saw
and see them in Manny and that's why I was never confident
with Manny either. I never thought Cotto could beat Floyd.
Cotto style was tailor made for Floyd. All punch and no brains.
Take Cotto punch away and he was clueless and discouraged
(Margarito/Pacquiao).

Only thing is you are comparing cotto then to manny now but if you do go back to the time machine and have both fighters fight then it would be a much better fight lol. Manny is much better now then he was before and cotto was better before than he is now.
