Can some1 please explain why the weigh-in is always day BEFORE fight!

    I thought it was to avoid losing money if the fighters don't make weight ala Michael Spinks vs Eddie Muhammad

        In the case of someone who is 6'1 trying to fight at 47' it almost never happens.

        This is why I don't blame anyone at WW for not fighting Paul Williams.

        If I was an average WW 5' 9 or so, I wouldn't give up that much advantage to some clown who drained himself to make it into my weight class.

            I've heard that being the reason quite a bit.

            My big thing is if you are going to do same day, I propose weight limits 30 days out, 14, 7, so guys don't cut too much and risk their health anymore than they already do.

              How is walking around at 150-152 draining yourself to make WW.

              Williams is a twig.
