My big thing is if you are going to do same day, I propose weight limits 30 days out, 14, 7, so guys don't cut too much and risk their health anymore than they already do.
that'd probably be the most responsible solution, there's a lot of horror stories from boxers, wrestlers, etc. about cutting massive amounts of weight days before a fight

        What's your walking around weight?

P.W: Oh, I walk around at about 155,something like that.

        I was 3 Pounds off.

Ideally the weigh ins should be right before the two fighters get in the ring, so that way there would be no way any would be ****** enough to dehydrate (because they would have no time to put any back in) and everyone would be fighting at their natural weights full stop.

This means guys like Margarito, Clottey, Mosley would be middleweights, Pacquiao would never have fought at 112lbs, everyone would actually be what their weightclasses are.

Unfortunately some idiot would try and dehydrate themselves, and get killed or badly hurt, and ruin it for the others. But ideally no one would try and do that, because the weigh in would be right in the ring so you would be an idiot to try to.

The only reason there's no rule being broken is because there is none about re hydrating weight.

[QUOTE=Adam West;7401592]No, my point is they should be fighting at SMW, not WW. Skip the charade of a weigh in and just weigh in what you are gonna weigh when you fight.QUOTE]

My point exactly!!! Mosley will weigh in at 147 and rehydrated to 160 or so give or take, while floyd will possibly nly rehydrate 3lbs... as he is a natural WW. Giving , Mosley 10lbs advantage... ND THEREFORE INCREASE HIS POBBIBLITY OF A KO
