    Named Non-mover for Pacquiao, Named Non-punchers for Khan..
    To be fair to him, Roach wanted the Pac-Mayweather fight to happen, and still does.

      I really dont take anything Fwank warren has to say in his column seriously, The guy is a joke and he would have find a way to avoid fighting Maidana himself if Khan had sign on with him.

      He would have never fought Tim bradley as well, He can negotiate for the fight all we want but the fight wouldnt happen, How many times did Warren negotiate for a fight for Hatton at 140 before he fought Tsyzu??

      He said he had a deal with Sharmba Mitchell, He even had mitchell fighting in one of Hatton's undercard but did the fight with Hatton happen for Mitchell?? No...Then he had a deal to fight Vivian Harris and what happen??

      No way would Warren fight Maidana or Bradley, The same Warren that was moaning and complaining that he would have never picked Prescott to fight Khan if he had the choice!!!

        He wants it but not for March.. You do not fight Mayweather within 3 months of fighting Cotto, No way jose Roach just talked himself into the fight. They were backed into a corner and looked for a way out, They tried the 10million dollar route but that didnt work so they use the already agreed olympic test as an excuse, Am sure we would see the fight in september when Pacquiao would all of a sudden be ready to take the test.

          I think Ray has it right on all levels the Pacman v Mayweather and that Shah Khan was aware that the winner of the Ortiz Maidana eliminator fight would fight Khan. It just does not add up that they could think they would only be obliged to fight Ortiz if he won. At that point they were looking at the gift chance to become a world champion in facing a really poor world champ in Kotelnik. Chances like that come once in a lifetime they would not be looking past that fight.He got a second bite of the gift cherry with a really poor mandatory challenger in Salita. How can Shah be angry with Warren over Maidana? What did he expect Warren to do get the WBA to sanction Oisin ***an as mandatory? Warren is an arse hole but has done a fantastic job for Khan navigating him to a title.

            See here;

            A few weeks ago, Shaw was negotiating with Khan’s former promoter Frank Warren to match the British champion against unbeaten WBO title holder Timothy Bradley. The two promoters were close to a deal, but it quickly went down the toilet when Khan signed a contract with Golden Boy Promotions. Shaw was turned down when he reached out to Golden Boy to make a Khan-Bradley fight.
            Warren doesn't waste his time on pretend negotiations. They sometimes fall through, but he doesn't pretend to negotiate. He's a successful businessman, he hasn't got time to waste pretending. And when they do fall through, as often as not, it's not his fault - e.g. the Calzaghe-Hopkins negotiations fell through after contracts had already been drawn up and agreed, when Hopkins suddenly doubled his purse demand.
