It helped them a lot, most of the good fighters from this show landed title shots and big money fights with top fighters like DLH, Cotto or Vernon Forrest. Sergio Mora, Sakio Bika are all respected names in boxing and Alfonso Gomez fights regularly on big cards.

Just the fact that you can name them easily shows you it helped their career big time. If i could do such a show in a couple of years i would do it. It's better than UFC's The Ultimate Fighter' in my opinion.

        Nothing
they are a bunch of C class fighters that cant beat anyone
When they step up in competion they fold
ala manfredo and look what happened to Mora
the snake got schooled by a Viper!

          Helped.

It made them a household name to people who don't follow boxing and open doors for them.

Gomez fought Cotto, Forbes fought DLH, and some of these guys are fighting on ESPN Friday Night Fights. They got title shots and made money because of the exposure they got from the show.

Sergio Mora is my favorite contender.

Question for who ever wants to chime in....did the show help or hurt these kats????
It made them famous and probably more money they could have ever got without it but being the contender doesn't make you a better boxer *lol*

Sugar Shay (ishe smith) is on this site now, we should get his take on it...
I think it helps, it gives these guys a shot, some have moved on to bigger better fights because of it, and some are back where they were found....

              Good show IMO,
