Out of Calzaghes promoters own mouth:

"Oh, sending Danny Williams over and seeing him knock out [Mike] Tyson, that was a good bit of matchmaking. Calzaghe beating [Jeff] Lacy, Hatton beating Tszyu. The knockout punch is about perfect timing, and so is matchmaking, picking the right guy at the right time. I think I've been good at it. I've managed more British, European and world champions than anyone. "

Why not go overseas? I thought boxing was a business? Fact is they would of gotten the same or close to the same amount of money overseas then what they would of gotten here... So why didn't they? But, I guess in this sense boxing is not a business right? You so full of **** sometimes... Got so many double standards... But, whatever bro you believe whatever you want to believe...

You just being an idiot now... Hatton was going to get 8 figures regardless... Joe wasn't it... If Hatton was not getting 8 figures he would of not fought them here nor there... If Joe was getting 8 figures over here he would of came earlier...

                  **** PRIME Hops and Roy.

That argument is old and played.

Calzaghe couldve fought Dawson at 175.

He couldve even gave Hops a rematch since it was a razor thin fight.

Hell look at the divison now. You mean to tell me Calzaghe cant better his **** legacy and resume.

calzaghe was fighting in ice rinks. why are people pretending like he was a huge star? this revisionist history is appalling. it's like saying why doesn't chad dawson go to hungary and fight zsolt erdei? he could do that if he wanted but it's pointless and a waste of time. nobody wants to see that fight as it's not relevant. just like calzaghe was never relevant. the wbo title holder who hadn't fought a single decent fighter and was known for getting hometown decisions/stoppages. yea lets go to his hometown to fight him that sounds like a good idea!
