Floyd has his ZERO and took on all comers in the lower weights. Calzaghe is just not that type of a fighter. I dont think he would've challenged himself.

Khan - hyped prospect who got KOd by a limited fighter, who only have power for 3 rounds. Ducked his first threat, to fight a older, smaller, shorter fighter. Only 2 decent wins and one of them was against a old ass fighter.

Hatton - Unified and lineal champ at 140 KOd by the 2 best of this era, with a decent resume. (Not Bad, knowing his limited skills)

Calzaghe - Beat Beyer, Manfredo, Lacy, Kessler, Hopkins, Roy Jones. 2 division champ. Best SMW of all time unifiying all 5 belts at the weight and defending his titles 20 times in a row at the weight. Overall he was 23-0 in title fights, 21-o in title defenses.

Hatton fought Kosta, Pac Malignagii, Mayweather and Collazo.

Khan is set to fight JMM, Judah, Maidiana and Mayweather.

Calzaghe fought Hopkins and Jones then retired calling himself a legend killer.

Yo busy you have to understand Calzaghe needed to take more chances but he was comfortable with local celeberty status. he was making decent money to fight in his own back yard and did not need to take chances. Much like Fraud Mayfeather has been able to do for sometime now. To me Calzaghe had a very good chance of beating some of those guys you mentioned prime for prime but we will never know because of the level of competition he did or did not fight.
