Does anyone agree with me when I say that Mayweather would put on another boxing clinic against Joshua Clottey, similar to what he did against Baldomir?

It's not like he was timid or reluctant which might have happened if he was truly affected mentally. I see a lot of people trying to discredit Mosley's win but I don't see in any way how Margarito could ever beat Mosley with that style. He far too slow and it plats into Mosleys style. I'm not using the triangle theory. I was actually responding to your comment that Clottey fought a better fight against Cotto than Mosley. I just countered by saying the same example could be made with Margarito-Mosley.
its not an excuse for margarito and his team but how could we as followers of the sport not take this into account when rating this win. maybe it had an effect maybe it didnt it could be that margs style was made for mosley but to not question it doesnt make sense to me. i agree with your point about the triangle theories but that goes back to my first point about not being sure who is the tougher fight right now i dont think it is as easy as mosley has had the better career therefore he is the tougher fight i look at their styles age recent performances time out of the ring ect and to me i would wait and see before we label this such a ridiculous question.

Clottey is in his prime, Mosley is a great fighter but past his prime.

Clottey is the tougher fight right now, in 2007 it would have been Mosley.
        What a joke.

As tough as Clottey is, he just doesn't have the intangibles, workrate, and boxing IQ as Mosley. I take nothing away from Clottey, he is a very good fighter, but he's not on Mosleys level, even at age 38.

im sure many would agree with you on that point but those if us who have seen clottey fight more then 2 times know that he is a much more skilled strong faster fighter then baldomir ever was.

Yeah, the same Clottey that stopped throwing punches late against Cotto while Mosley kept trying to knock Cotto out late. The same Clottey that doesnt have the speed or power of Mosley. The same Clottey who has folded late in his biggest fights. This is just your thinly veiled attempt at trying to discredit the Mayweather-Mosley fight. Not much different from when you said Pacquiao would have knocked out Sugar Ray Leonard. You are a disgrace to boxing. BTW, that was a sorry bunch of Euro heavyweights you claimed the US writer "overlooked".

Not to mention Corrales gave Clottey trouble, while Floyd dominated every round and stopped him. Mayweather would run circles around Clottey the same way he did to Baldomir, countering every punch he throws. Heck, Clottey actually reminds me of a younger, more skilled version of Baldomir with defensive. The only good fights that Clottey has won (or came close to winning) ALL involved headbutts. I'm willing to bet my Pacquiao-Clottey tickets that Freddie Roach is going to request a disqualification if Clottey uses his head against Pacquiao (which I REALLY see happening).

Mosley on the other hand has a similar chin (or better), handspeed, more strength, more skill, and neither really have much legs but I'd even give that advantage to Mosley because he isn't flat footed. Mosley was also on his way to stopping Cotto in round 10 before they were pulled apart due to water on the floor. From there Cotto ran his way into a decision because he knew he would have gotten stopped. While I believe Mayweather would put on a boxing clinic against Clottey, he definitely wouldn't do the same against Mosley. I think it would be as close as the De La Hoya fight.
