The point isn't whether it's the norm or not. The point is whether it's so incredibly unknown that you have to resort to explaining it with drugs. And it simply isn't. Especially when you take into account his background.
Come on? Team Pac and Roach scream from the rooftop just about everyday about Pac increasing Power & strength.

Pac is TECHNICALLY better now. That comes with age, experience and a great trainer. Doesn't necessarily have to come from roids.

That's why floyd's statements are ******ed.
I think Pac looks a lot better as a function of who he fought and the strengths those guy had compared to what Manny does well so I think it is kind of an illusion but what he was able to do was based of his own strengths.

What Floyd Mayweather and I think are not the same but I understand what he is saying and kind of agree with his point as it is uncommon.

Boxing is a harsh business that takes a lot out of a person when you gain experiance you generally lose physical ability now it usually balances out for a while until a fighter falls over a cliff. Manny could be a real exception to the rule in that his physical ability was maintained while his experiance raised his level, now Floyd does not think that is possible natuarally it seems, I can't answer that question but for a gifted person it is not out of the question.

Mostly hype. And I haven't heard Roach say that, just his conditioner. Obviously he's going to be a bit stronger because all the weight he's put on is muscle; but he's not noticeably stronger relative to his weight. He didn't out-muscle Hatton and Cotto. His beat them with speed and timing. His power punches were so effective mainly because his opponents didn't see them coming.

And Floyd has also got a bit physically stronger as he's moved up - as I said, he was the first fighter ever to physically dominate Hatton, something Tszyu was unable to do.

Also, don't forget that he's as tall as Cotto and Hatton. He was very tall for his weight at the lower weights. Relatively tall fighters for their weight gain weight without losing effectiveness much more easily than short ones - e.g. Hearns, De La Hoya, Williams, etc.

Do you think Hopkins is on drugs? He peaked considerably later than Pac. And like Hopkins, Pac has never really taken much punishment, even though he has a far less tight defence than Hopkins.

Floyd is not a gifted child we should say a special child . We should all bow down to him and follow his own rules. Mohammad Ali never made at this far controlling the world of boxing by his means. Watch you back PBF, Mosley will give you a dose that will shut your bad mouthing. Check out people who will again inject triple dose of Xylocane against the Iron Chin of Mosley.

Hopkins is from a higher weight class, and he was very good for a very long time he is not better now he has just been able to maintain a high level. Also what B-Hop has been able to do is certainly not commonplace.

It is not the same thing.

Floy should have just fight Pacman, roids or no roids, xylocaine or no xylocaine, win or lose and make all the boxing fans happy. I think he has the edge because he is naturally bigger than PACMAN and has skills as well. He should not worry at all, unless he is really scared....

Don't know about that 1.....he's gonna have an asterix next to his name that said he refused random blood tests......the bottom line is Pac needs Floyd just as much as Floyd needs Pac right now.....and that will be especailly true if Floyd can get past Shane......

If Floyd loses to Shane.....for his detractors at least it will be like he never defeated 4o guys before him....all of Floyds great wins will be forgotten...If Pac loses to Clottey its all good.....everyone will say he lost to the bigger man and he was too small to fight a guy who comes in at 165 on fight night.......Floyd is actually SO RIGHT when he says he is always in a no-win situation.....

If floyd beats shane he will get zero credit------------> Mosley is an old man and was too inactive......etc etc...

Nah! Thats the only thing they can find meaningful on that interview. The rest of the interview is rubbish.

Like Pacquiao. Floyd was fighting at 106lb when he was 15, and Floyd moved up to Welterweight a lot sooner than Pac did.

Pac's knock-out power at the higher weights is due to the fact that fighters don't see the punches coming. At higher weights, fighters aren't used to facing that kind of speed and his unpredictable angles. Pac has always had a more explosive style than Floyd, and now that Roach has made him into a more complete fighter than he was, he can use his power more effectively than before. But if Pac's ability to move up in weights is su****ious, then Floyd's ability to do so is at least as su****ious, especially as Pac started off as a homeless, half-starved vagrant with no training to speak of, who had to grow into his body - whereas Floyd has never gone hungry and has always had good training.

Nah bro....watch Floyd at 130 against Corrales or even working the mitts for Gatti fight in training compared to now......he is much slower at 147.......it's difficult to see because his timing is so good and he is still faster than most, with the possible exception of Pac and Judah....but he was lightning quick in the lower classes....
