143 is just ****ing wrong man.

before the cotto fight...repeat it to yourself a couple of time...before-the-cotto-fight

then when that sinks in, repeat this passage 'before the cotto fight...right after his fight with hatton at 140'

I knew that. Rightfully so. Floyd is a WW after all.

JMM knew that when he said Floyds name that Floyd been a WW the last 5 years.

There was no one else available for that July 19th date anyway that could be a tune up bout that HBO PPV would accept.

No, I give him props for fighting Marquez twice.

Cotto was never the same boxer after his battle with Margacheato.

Manny is a true WW and his opponents should be able to come in at 147 if you're fighting at 147.

But, JMM call him out at a catch-weight... if you listing to the interview JMM said 143...

Why not fight Shane on July 19? He was available...

There was no one else availible for a tune up bout on July 19th that HBO would accept.

Floyd tried to make the weight. He failed. He paid his fine. Oh Well.

Is Mosley a tune up bout?

But, you know who dares to be great is the fighter who says you know what fuck 142... I will fight you at 140 for you belt.... And, that is what Shane told Pac. Because Shane was daring to be great...

You know does not dare to be great... a welterweight who tells a lightweight yea I will fight you at 144... And, then comes in at 146...

Is Floyd not great? He can't come off from a 16 month layoff and not fight a guy Shane? But, Shane can come off from a 16 month layoff and fight Floyd and the layoff is not a big deal? Again who is daring to be great here?

Didn't Ray Leonard come off from a 3 year layoff went up in weight. To a weight-class he never fought in before and fought the #1 guy an ATG in Marvin Hagler?

Floyd couldn't do that? In a 16 month layoff he couldn't fight a fighter who has problem with boxers? Who can't handle a jab? Who punches with his eyes close? Was that to much for Floyd to handle? If so then really how truly great is he?
