I had forgotten, but Floyd got hurt by both straight lefts and a right hook against Corley. He also was flash KD against Judah on a right hook. I think he was hit cleaner and harder by southpaw punches than I have ever seen him hit by orthodox.
When Floyd faces southpaws, he normally uses the high guard defence, I think it was muscle memory that made him slip back into using the shoulder roll defence from time to time. On the flip side Manny has trouble with the straight right, so they both have their vulnerabilities.

his shoulder roll is meant for an orthodox fighter. his last loss in the amateurs apparently came against a southpaw, and he had hairy moments against corley and judah. thats why i believe pac has a great chance in defeatng floyd, he has the speed, power and style.
