He is totally underrated, most of the casual Boxing fans won't even know who he is. He's one of the best talents in my view.

        He's not overrated. He's underrated.

He's top 5 p4p material. I'd put him past Mosley, Hopkins and Mayweather.

Well For me is a very good fighter and very capable of beating anyone from 154-160.

But he also can be beaten. Even though I think he beat Williams, Quintana did a better job than Martinez in the first fight. Quintana hurt Paul as much, but didnt got hit back a much.. Martinez put the hurt on Williams but got hit plenty back.

I think he is very good, with solid skills and talent, but I wouldnt put him in the Mayweather, Mosley, Calderon league just yet

Definitely NOT overrated. I agree with the other posts. Martinez has a great style, he can stick and move, he is evasive.

The citron/williams fights were very telling; the message? He can outbox the boxer. I think he has definitely earned the title as one of the "feared" fighters of his respective division(s). I think he outboxes Pavlik with ease.

I cant put him with the elites until he starts beating people.

Fights with Dzindiruk, Angulo, Pavlik, Williams re-match will seal his legacy.

One down and 3 more to go. Though I doubt they would put Angulo in with Martinez.

He still needs to rematch Paul and avenge his loss. Hes good but some people are going over the top.

He's underrated if anything. People rank Paul Williams in their top 4/5 p4p but dont rate Sergio at all...wtf? He didnt just outbox them, he sent both Williams and Pavlik to the hospital.
