who's a hippocrit?how do we know bernard was at his best at middleweight when the only great middleweight he fought he lost to?how was hopkins the smaller man against calzghe when he looks like the bigger man in the fight and refused to have fight night weigh in and had already fought at light heavy

..and personally, i don't care if hatton and calzaghe drain down 100 lbs. to make weight in between fights...they both entered boxing in one division, remained in that division, and established themselves there win or lose..calzaghe fought his entire career at 168...hatton @ jr. welter, jumped up to 147 here and there, but thats not the same as hopkins....don't you get it?

...and if calzaghe is really a cruiserweight like you claim him to be, why did he visibly look smaller than hopkins when they fought?, despite the fact that you still think hopkins is a middleweight?.....aw man i'm getting a real good laugh tonite..
so you only think hopkins dropped to 160 cause he lost his first fight? you don't think that had more to do with him having no experience or formal training? is clinton mitchell really that good.......... was he staying at middleweight his entire career just to avoid him? did he only come back to light heavy when clinton was retired? it all makes sense now.

Yeah sure he did what you mean in that 1 fight which was life and death with Vargas? cause all his other fights pre that (minor some tuneup stuff) was 147 or lower. Looked spectacular vs the number 2 middle? well that goes to show how **** the division really was.. Tito is 2-3 in MW fights. Besides lets not go and pretend like Joppy is some world beater, he is a decent champion that is all..

fighters can move up but to go from 147 to 160 is almost impossible for anyone other than paul williams, fighters at 160 are much bigger than 147 and 154 fighters jus like 147 fighters are clearly bigger than 140-135 fighters

the excuses hopkins fans make for this guys actual size is beyond ******ed...they will actually have you believe that calzaghe is a natural cruiserweight, when he was the visibly smaller man in a lightheavyweight fight....somebody put video up of this fight...the commentators even feel hopkins is the bigger man...this is definitely one for the record books...

calzaghe already fought at light heavy as well. looks like we will have to use other evidence to decide who's bigger. oh look hopkins was a middleweight his entire career and calzaghe was a super middlweight his entire career. case closed.

Bhop has a slight + in that the names on his resume are bigger

But those are 2 names Oscar and Trinidad..

Now lets break it down both are not natural MW

Oscar is 1-1 at MW (really 0-2 as Forbes beat his ass also)

                Trinidad is 2-3 at MW

Both Hopkins and Calzaghe are good fighters but in weak ass divisions
Forbes beat De La Hoya?!? What fight were you watching?

                Judges scores:
                Max De Luca: 119 - 109
                Marcos Rosales: 120 - 108
                Marty Simmon: 119 - 109

                Compubox Stats:

                Punches: De La Hoya 230 - 810 31%
                Forbes 152 - 776 20%

                Power Punches: De La Hoya 126 - 404 31%
                Forbes 83 - 306 27%

                Jabs: De La Hoya 127 - 406 31%
                Forbes 69 - 470 15%

Forbes was out landed in every round decisively except round 4 where he landed 1 more punch than ODH.

Everyone watching that fight had ODH winning either by whitewash or winning 11 to 1. You must have referenced the wrong fight there.

Not really case closed, just need to look at measurements height, reach etc (i have no idea who is bigger)

no i would like you to acknowledge that all fighters cut weight to make the division of their choice. it just so happens calzaghe cuts a lot more weight than hopkins ever did but you just pretend that he doesn't.
