Yeah, I agree... he found a way to still be successful... I still love to watch him but of course I wouldn't have anything against it if he fights like the 130 version again *looooooooooooooooooool* Sadly as he wanted to fight Mosley at 135... Shane moved up... that would have been one fight... Shane at 135 was also a different fighter... pair that against the 130 Floyd... booooooooooooooooooooooooooooi I tell yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
The 130lbs version of Floyd was so damn special IMO... He still pretty special, his skills skills are unmatched right now... but, that version was so amazing...

To be honest i dont really pay much attention to Harold lederman, He sway alot of people with the wrong scorecard alot of times and its funny when people quote his scorecards sometimes like its the gospel.
      Great post,

I remember the Adrian Stone fight, that KO was scary... Amazing and that was the ww version of Shane... The Lightweight version of Shane was even better...

A fight I wanted to see at the time at 135 was Shane Mosley vs Stevie Johnston... I always hoped they would of fought but it never happened...

All 3 were in the same weight-class undefeated, in their prime and champs... Freitas at the time a 100% KO ratio...

The only reason why no fights materialized at the time... was due to Floyd being an HBO fighter while Casa and Freitas were Showtime fighters... Those fights were not big enough to make HBO and Show come together like it did for Lewis-Tyson... That is why we Casa-Freitas but never saw Floyd against either of them... Even though everybody involved was willing to fight...
Yeah, I remember Freitas too... Freitas wasn't bad either... he had some good scraps... Freitas had a funny way of fighting... he was like a samba dancer or something at times *looooooooooooooooooool*

Oh I didn't know that with the tv stations... yeah, I mean HBO could get every fighter but they have really sometimes a bad eye for talent or what they think would interest folks...

Def. would have been fights that would have looked good on his resume

No, that is a match that I haven't seen (Stone-Mosley)...

At 135 it would have been bad... Mosley at his start at welter was faster... I mean the first DLH fight was awesome... he had a whole different dynamic... nowadays he almost looks sluggish... still has fast hands... but his dynamic looks way more sluggish then he used to

True, it's sad that most ppl only know him from his welter days or as it seems sometimes here on this forum...

130 Mayweather was a beast... he is still very skilled... but of course fights more save... that's why I'm interested in a fight against Pacquiao for example... because even though most think he ain't got the heart no more... I believe if somebody pushes him he will dig deep and try to find the 130 Floyd... I don't know if the NOW Mosley can do it... but Pacquiao comes from the lower weights and is faster with feet and hand then the welterweights... where it is pretty simple for Floyd to make it a easy night...

Even though it ain't looks bright we can still hope that the fight happens... both still seem to be willing to fight each other... at least they say that
