    Mayweather-Chavez @130, underrated gem inside

Very underated fight against a very good opponent. IMO really one of the finest all around performances in his career... he fought with him at close quarters... tired him out in the middle rounds by boxing him and turns the heat up in the final rounds of the bout. May also shows a solid chin in this one.

Chavez would go on after this fight and become a 2 division champion. He also had a very competive fight with Erik Morales but lost a decision. He was also the guy who beat Leavander Johnson (R.I.P.) in his last fight.

That was Mayweather at his finest and the Mayweather he's so often mistaken for nowadays. That Mayweather is gone.

Yeah the fight was very competitive and Chavez gave as good as he got until he ran out of steam, The fact that chavez went on to achieve things says alot,Underrated fight IMO.

Nobody mistakes SFW Floyd for WW Floyd besides salad tossers like you. Floyd has shown so much versatility from 130 to 154, it's scary.

Sadly I have to agree with you... I think part is weight, part are his hands but he became way more safety first... I mean he still defended nice in this fight as well... but well... those were the days *looooooooooooooooooooool*

                He really did mate.

That was during his "Pretty Boy" days. "Money May" destroyed it.

Dude, I asked you already yesterday... why are you always so hateful towards ppl...

The 130 Floyd we will never see again... but that doesn't mean he ain't good anymore or something... he is still doing his thing no question about it... but the 130 Floyd is gone... which is understandable he fights now 4 weight classes over that...

Don't be so rude all the time dude... just chill... re-enjoy the fight

Yes I think moving up in weight has taken a toll on a guy who wasn't all that powerful to begin with. Mix that with his brittle hands and he's just not that same guy which is why I think it's funny when people use Floyd and destroy in the same sentence to describe future and fantasy fight outcomes.
