Who's taken MORE risks? Mayweather or Calzaghe?

wtf ??????? floyd's win over Corrales ****s all over calzaghe's win over hopkinsI'm going to say Calzaghe, Mayweather has fought the better fighters at the lower weights but none of them in retrospect were even going to beat him and he knew it (Castillo perhaps but Floyd fans say Floyd had a broken hand) Floyd's level of talent and athleticism were far ahead of anyone he fought. Which isn't his fault at the lower weight classes as all he could do was fight the best.
He could have taken risks at Welterweight but he had yet to do so. Calzaghe relative to his talent level has taken more risks beating a 42 year old Hopkins was riskier than fighting Corrales since Hopkins had more talent that Calzaghe (personally I believe so) and was the better fighter of the two, but lost because he didn't have his conditioning down.Comment

Calzaghe took his last two fights in the US.
He had world title fights in Scotland, Germany, Denmark, and England.
"Chicken" Floyd won't leave his home town of Las Vegas.

He took on several prime younger opponents in his own weight division: Mitchell, Lacy, Bika, Kessler, etc.
He never cherry-picked smaller welterweights and lightweights or even middleweights (Floyd cherry-picked the much smaller JM Marquez, who had been a featherweight until his early 30s). Joe fought people in his own weight division, or with Hopkins and Jones, from a bigger weight division.Comment

The man is right. He's no ***** too so just listen to him.Simple answer, Mayweather. At the lower weights he took on the very best and beat the very best. Calzaghe didn't beat anyone that was in their prime that was legit other than maybe Kessler and we have seen how he ended up. It's kind of disrespectful to Floyd for anyone to really compare him to that guy.Comment

The only risk Calzaghe took was Kessler. At a bare minimum Floyd took risks in undefeated Corrales and a rematch with a man who almost beat him in JLC.Calzaghe took his last two fights in the US.
