Which isn't his fault at the lower weight classes as all he could do was fight the best.

He could have taken risks at Welterweight but he had yet to do so. Calzaghe relative to his talent level has taken more risks beating a 42 year old Hopkins was riskier than fighting Corrales since Hopkins had more talent that Calzaghe (personally I believe so) and was the better fighter of the two, but lost because he didn't have his conditioning down.
wtf ??????? floyd's win over Corrales ****s all over calzaghe's win over hopkins

Calzaghe took his last two fights in the US.

He had world title fights in Scotland, Germany, Denmark, and England.

"Chicken" Floyd won't leave his home town of Las Vegas.

He took on several prime younger opponents in his own weight division: Mitchell, Lacy, Bika, Kessler, etc.

He never cherry-picked smaller welterweights and lightweights or even middleweights (Floyd cherry-picked the much smaller JM Marquez, who had been a featherweight until his early 30s). Joe fought people in his own weight division, or with Hopkins and Jones, from a bigger weight division.

It's kind of disrespectful to Floyd for anyone to really compare him to that guy.
The man is right. He's no ***** too so just listen to him.

The only risk Calzaghe took was Kessler. At a bare minimum Floyd took risks in undefeated Corrales and a rematch with a man who almost beat him in JLC.
