Yeah such a risk that he had Floyd literally running around the ring.

agreed....the guy stayed in the UK his entire career then came to the states to fight rwo 40 year olds

They are the reverse of one another, earlier in their careers, I'd say Mayweather took more risks while Joe did not. Later on, Joe became more risky and Floyd more timid and cautious.

its called movement and its a vital part of boxing. floyd simply used his speed and boxing skills rather than trade shots with the bigger and stronger man, its called BOXING. dont feel bad though, alot of mainstream fan mistake boxing with running, and believe brawling is boxing instead. whoch isnt the case.. floyd boxed, and he did a good job of it too winning clearly.

DLH was a risk considering his size and his punch. like ppl already mentioned floyd took plenty of risks early in his career, mainly hernandez and corrales. hernandez was a well established champion in his prime, floyd had like 18 fights or something like that and no real world class experience at the time. corrales was just a beats, undefeated and knocking everyone out.

calzaghe hasnt really taken many risks, hopkins was somewhat of a risk. thats it though. kessler is an average fighter and lacy is trash. its hard to imagine a fighter more washed up then roy jones.

so mayweather has taken more risks by far.

I'm going to say Calzaghe, Mayweather has fought the better fighters at the lower weights but none of them in retrospect were even going to beat him and he knew it (Castillo perhaps but Floyd fans say Floyd had a broken hand) Floyd's level of talent and athleticism were far ahead of anyone he fought. Which isn't his fault at the lower weight classes as all he could do was fight the best.

He could have taken risks at Welterweight but he had yet to do so. Calzaghe relative to his talent level has taken more risks beating a 42 year old Hopkins was riskier than fighting Corrales since Hopkins had more talent that Calzaghe (personally I believe so) and was the better fighter of the two, but lost because he didn't have his conditioning down.

Whoever voted for Calzaghe knows absolutely nothing about boxing.

Floyd wanted tough fights earlier in his career. Its since he made some money that he turned into a diva. JLC and Chico are damn tough fights alot tougher than an old Hopkins and Kessler.
