The same people today who are saying Floyd needs Mosely, will be saying Shane was over the hill once Floyd beats him....keep in mind that in the last 2 years,Shane has been more active in the ring than Floyd.(Shane has had over 40 rounds and Floyd only 12!!!)
None the less, these people do not like watching even odds when it comes to competition. They just want to watch Manny's opponents get disadvantaged, then make up excuses when Floyd keeps winning....
That's all well and good but Mosley should be the next opponent.

I can't argue with that.Mosely,Floyd and Manny should be fighting one another. In either case,I believe Manny takes a loss. I'm not sure how Clottey belongs in this mix as he is coming off of a loss.

floyd bet jmm because of his skills and not because he's bigger and stronger??...no,it was because jmm is old, slow at that weight too and it help that floyd was bigger too...fact is floyd still fougth a blown up jmm,,thats a fact...if floyd were a natural jr feather fighting jmm 5 years ago,it would have been a close fight...but this was an old marquez, blown up welter, that looked slow because of that,,,,

Every top fighter picks and chooses who he wants to fight...except Bob Arum's henchmen(Cotto, Pac)...DLH does, B-Hop does, RJJ does, Floyd does...

Let's be honest-if Marquez could have brought his assets up with him in weight,it wouldn't have made a difference. It was mostly Floyd's skills and gameplan. He let the other counter puncher lead the fight,so Floyd could counter.
On the same token,Manny still thought he was good enough to consider a trilogy with him at this weight class after Floyd whipped him.
I would have to assume that even if Marquez was younger, and maintained his abilities-he still would have tried to lead in a fight against another counter-puncher- no weight will change that-at best he would have gotten a few rounds in his favour-MAYBE!

Your damn right. For the Oscar vs Manny fight Roach n company made crazy demands.A million or so dollars for every pound Oscar came in on the scales over 147lbs.On top of that Roach put in the contract that Oscar was not allowed to rehydrate over 147lbs on fight night. All that and the fact that Oscar was at the end of his career and hasn't fought at welterweight in over 8 years.Somethings wrong when Manny comes into the fight weighing more than Oscar who is at 5'101/2".DLH's body was shot before he even stepped into the ring.On the unofficial scales the night of the fight Oscar got on the scales and with all of his clothes and sneakers on was barely 147lbs.Roach even said that when the two fighters came to the center of the ring he seen blood still coming from where the IV mark on DLH arm was.Thats when Roach was sure Oscar had no chance that night.
About Cotto vs Manny. Why is Manny willing to fight Clottey at the full welterweight limit but 1 fight before was NOT willing to fight Cotto for HIS title no less at the full weight limit of 147lbs.It's known that Clottey comes into fights at welterweight heavier than Cotto does.Well over the 147lb limit. When i say that Roach n his team choose when and when not to throw in the demands, this is exactly what i am talking about. They wanted to make sure of mannys chances for the seventh world title.
Manny said in an interview when asked "why he in the fight with Cotto layed on the ropes and invited Cotto to come in and take shots from Cotto".Manny replied with "well, before the fight Cotto kept saying he is the bigger stronger man,and i wanted to prove him wrong and show i was the stronger bigger man".Well how i see it is Roach and Manny did a hell of a job convincing Cotto and his team that Manny was the smaller man before the fight i will to you that!.Roach kept saying "Manny can barely make the 147lb limit".."It wouldn't be fair if we let Cotto get on the scales at 147lbs"...Thats all BS man.Thats to get into these fighters heads and have them saying to themselves,I am the bigger man, this is my division, and they take chances like Cotto did and then they get caught.I mean i am not saying Manny is not a good fighter,he is...Thats my whole point.Manny gets an advantage that he doesnt even need. You seen how Cotto was doing very well against Manny untill Cotto tried to get to crazy and took unnecessary chances and got caught because of Mannys punches in bunches from all angles style.Strategy is fine with me coming from Roach and team but dont say that Floyd jr ducks fighters and such when Manny and Roach do the same type of **** with the picking of whom they will fight at what weight and with what demands.
As a boxing fan...Do you realy feel that Manny can beat Mayweather???Not answering from your heart but with compairing of the two fighters styles, skills, defense, everything.Who would win???Let me know...

Are people forgetting that JMM turned down a third fight with Pacquiao?

If JMM is too small for Mayweather why is Pacquiao OK to fight him? Pacquiao is a legit WW now...

Coming from a guy who trains a fighter who just ducked Yuri Foreman cause he said Yuri Foreman is too tall and instead they choose a fighter with no stamina who stands in front of you like a punching bag.
