Great observation...Some people assume that the only reason that PBF beat JMM was because he was bigger or maybe stronger???

The beating that JMM took was an absolute boxing lesson and had zero to do with weight...In much the same manner that PBF gave ODLH a boxing lesson when they fought at JR Middleweight - A fight which PBF weighed 152 for the 154lb fight and Oscar came into the fight substatially outweighing him.

and PBF has been out weighed by a lot of the fighters he's faced.

Why fight Campbell or Diaz when he could fight Oscar? I don't see whats wrong with Manny fighting Cotto since Cotto beat Shane. I don't see whats wrong with fighting Clottey either since he was the best option after Mayweather. Yea Margarito beat both of them but did he cheat in those fights though? Also Margarito fought Clottey almost 4 years ago.

Interesting thought is that floyd "ducked" the guy that was cheating. So all in all that was a great move because most likely if Margarito would try to cheat against shane(he probably cheated against a lot of other fighters but this was proven) then he would probably do the same against mayweather. This could easily ruin a fighters career. Look at cotto...it is highly likely that he was hit with loaded gloves. So I say great move not fighting the cheater and making the same money verses the champion at the division that many were saying floyd would avoid as well. Skill wise mayweather should be able to easily box circles around Margarito.

lol!!! these people forget that after Cotto took a beating from Margarito,he fought the over-matched club fighter Michael Jennings (the only guy he looked decent against after his stoppage,yet still looked not the same as pre-Margarito) for a vacant title, got a gift from Clottey, then got annihilated by Manny-yet somehow he is still rated p4p best???? The same people today who are saying Floyd needs Mosely,will be saying Shane was over the hill once Floyd beats him....keep in mind that in the last 2 years,Shane has been more active in the ring than Floyd.(Shane has had over 40 rounds and Floyd only 12!!!)

complete rubbish. it had alot to do with weight seen as tho mayweather didnt even make the weight. If weight doesnt matter, why doesnt he fight david haye?
