i totally agree floyd fought a better oscar and hatton, floyd beat an out of his wt class jmm ,however the manner in which he beat him offsets mannys victories over common opponents, it does lead u to believe thereis a possibility floyd could easily beat pac. u oh here comes the hate!!!! im a fn of niether.

There are a lot of things that Floyd brings in the ring that Manny would not be able to flourish against.
Mayweather prefers to keep distance and Manny gets frustrated when his opponents cannot be in his face.Just watch when Cotto kept distance-Manny was not as effective. In fact,I would dare say that in the 12th round the fight did not need to get called off as Cotto didn't get punished as he did in the middle rounds.
Manny also has problems with people who have strong right hands that are fast or have decent timing-just watch Morales and Marquez exploit him with straight rights.In fact, you have to go back 5 fights where Manny faces a right handed opponent in a fight I believe Manny lost.
All of Manny's recent 4 fighters who he has made a larger name off of and where a majority of his legacy comes from, are against people who either are-
southpaw (Diaz),left hand dominant-yet fight out of an orthodox stance (Cotto and Hatton) or left hand converted (Oscar converted to a left handed style due to an injury-his new style was formed around an injury and had no effectiveness with his right hand since his fight with Steve Forbes-a fight he should have easily dominated,but looked like he got ****** up badly).There is a reason Manny's team put him up against these fighters after Marquez.The moment Manny is in against someone who is a decent counter-puncher (with a right hand for a change), who has speed,defense and decent movement- Manny will lose.Floyd has all of these-and his power is being severely under-rated by most people....

Oh really floyd has not asked for catch weights huh?? What about the marquez fight 144 and he came in at 147!!!! And before the oscar fight PAC was at 135 and he had to go up two weight classes to face oscar and it was at 147 not 144!!! I'm not deniying that PAC didn't ask for a catch weight against cotto but that was he's second fight at WW and the hatton fight was at 140 just like every one else he's gota make weight too and the cotto fight was two pounds two F**** pounds and it was at 145 and the clottey fight is at 147 and it's he's second fight at 147 for a guy coming down from 7 weight classes that's somthing else

If you want to compare Mosely and Clottey-it's like comparing chalk to cheese.
I can at least respect Floyd for wanting a fight with Mosely,who I believe is the best in his division. Something you wont give Floyd credit for if the fight happens.Clottey is just another "criteria" met fight for Manny-it's a predictable fight.Go ahead and dump your money on the ppv,then beg for your money back from your local cable company after you have watched something predictable that isn't competitive....

Honestly,it is hard to rate a guy like Cotto (currently)who has lost by ko in 2 out of 4 of his last fights,and looked like **** against the 1 out of 2 he won.Do you really believe Cotto can beat Floyd? Do you believe a flat footed Berto (who got a gift against Collazo)can beat Floyd? Even Margarito doesn't bring much-he's slow as hell,plods forward and fights the same style as any other fighter Floyd has beat-what does he bring different to the table?
Out of your whole list,I believe Williams can pose a few problems with Floyd,but even then-if Williams fought like he did against Martinez-he would lose against someone who has good timing and can keep distance.What tall fighter chases the shorter guy,gives up his reach,just to get tagged???

Why fight Campbell or Diaz when he could fight Oscar? I don't see whats wrong with Manny fighting Cotto since Cotto beat Shane. I don't see whats wrong with fighting Clottey either since he was the best option after Mayweather. Yea Margarito beat both of them but did he cheat in those fights though? Also Margarito fought Clottey almost 4 years ago.

Actually,its worst than that.Freddie wanted Manny to fight Yuri Foreman,but it was Manny who said "Yuri is too tall"... ( even though he is as tall as Oscar De La Hoya) this is coming from a guy who says he fights ANYONE his team puts in front of him...if Yuri is "too tall" for Manny,how does Bob Arum expect to get Manny in the ring with Margarito-who is taller than Yuri or Oscar?????
I cannot remember a time where Floyd has said he wouldn't fight someone because of their height or because of a teaspoon of blood,yet somehow these people call him a pu$$y?????
