Gamboa gets better with every fight. He has the natural physical abilities that can take him a long way
What I admire about Gamboa.

Just wait. You'll see. If Gamboa happens to make it 40-0 you see what's coming his way. What he's 17-0? Everyone is 17-0 nowadays, even journeymen make it that far.Above all, it is his humble confidence, which was on display during the post fight interview. He knows he is skilled, and states he is a level above the other FWs, and does not come off as an jerk while stating it. He is also willing to fight everyone including Caballero, and Arum isn't going to baby him, while Arum will baby the guy Arum wants to make into his "rival".Comment

yeah, they guy that almost beat him while he was weight drained, as HE HIMSELF said 3 days prior to the fight. i don't even like lopez, so i don't care about demeaning him, but facts are facts and the guy struggled badly in making 122 last time
drain gamboa down to 122 or make mtagwa fight juanma at 126 and lets see what happens then
oh and thanks for not explaining how gamboa has this idea about being incomparable to guys with a better resume than him. i like him when he's on the ring fighting, but when he opens his mouth, he's a freaking idiot.
that's the same reason why some many ricans don't like juanma (including me). who the hell does he think he is to be talking about caballero not being a draw. you saw ricans calling him ***** for doing that, but you only see cubans having erections when gamboa says that he's the greatest thing on 126, even though he hasn't beat literally anyone there
let me know when gamboa actually fights a 126 pounder with a pulse and doesn't get dropped

Gamboa has Rican blood on him.
True story, so you better lay off his nuts since you hate everything Rican.Comment

there's no problem with his record so far. it's understandable that he hasn't fought a decent level of opposition yet and is starting to do that now
the problem's that the guy's already talking about how great he is when compared to other fighters. seriously, wtf is that? he hasn't beaten john, juanma, vazquez, de leon, marquez, or any other respectable name currently on 126. he has no reaosn to be talking so highly of himself while he has accomplished nothing yet
you saw the reaction when juanma started saying "who's caballero? he doesn't bring anything to the table". same reaction here, except the ducking partComment

Gamboa was the NABF Super Featherweight Champ, the WBC Super Featherweight Champ, WBO/NABO Featherweight Champ, WBA World Featherweight Champ all within 17 fights. He has already fought at 130 several times now.
you don't like a guy that has fought 3 champs, but like a guy that hasn't fought anyone and dares to say that he's on another level in comparison to the rest of the division greats?
his biggest win came against a guy with 12 loses that couldn't go up in weight. if he thinks he's so much better than the rest because of that, then lets see him challenge himself and move upComment
