What I admire about Gamboa.

You seem like a good guy, so let me tell you something. Trinidad was one of my favorite fighters in the 90s and early 2000s, and Calderon has been a fighter I have liked for a long ass time. I was even rooting for Cotto against Mosley, but have since grew to dislike his style of fighting, and the fact that he gives up trying when he is outgunned, and either runs or quits. When it comes to Lopez, I like his hear, and his willingness to kill or get KOed without quitting, but I do not like how his team are avoiding the high risk high reward guys like Caballero who was the champ at 122, and should have been chased, but was rather chasing Juanma, and getting nothing in return. Other than that, I aint got no quarrel.Comment

He's talented and is a potential star for boxing.Last edited by Pugilistic™; 01-25-2010, 09:03 PM.Comment

Yeah, Gamboa is a real talent with a **** load of natural ability.
His flaws actually make for the potential of more entertaining fights.
Just imagine is he never escaped Cuba and we would never know about this guy or what he could have done.Comment

Why does every Borikua i talk to immediately takes it as am trashing Juanma when i talk about Gamboa is it because he looked inferior in a rescent fight? maybe a lill complex there? damn no need to get so defensive anyways Gamboa might do a little more street cleanning on featherweights before taking out Juanma you can breathe easy guys

juanma is more fundamentally sound than gamboa, while yuriorkis is more physically gifted like a cross between roy jones and nazeem hamed (ok, maybe not but you get the point)
for some reason, juanma comes across like a pompous douchebag and for that i'll be rooting for the cuban when the island showdown goes downComment

you don't like a guy that has fought 3 champs, but like a guy that hasn't fought anyone and dares to say that he's on another level in comparison to the rest of the division greats?
his biggest win came against a guy with 12 loses that couldn't go up in weight. if he thinks he's so much better than the rest because of that, then lets see him challenge himself and move upComment
