Ch@mp even though JuanMa had a better opponent tonight who he has some trouble with early on and got the job done with, he did get hit alot by Lueveno.

What happens when he gets hit against a much faster opponent with the power Luevano doesn't have?

Both fighters had a great night and props to both....

Gamboa a very special fighter did what he needed to do in great fashion and he has a great future in front of him. I am very impressed with his overall improvements since the ESPN FNF fights ..... he can become something really special....

Lopez did a great job also and did his fight. Luevano was a champ that never has been stopped and 5 title defense so... it was no pushover easy fight. Lopez needed a great night I believe he did it and got a great KO.

As for Lopez/Gamboa .... wow great fight for the future, I believe it will happen but will not be surprised if Arum will hold it till 2011. Setting Triangle theories aside witch for example Cotto/Mosley/Margarito and Ali/Frazier/Foreman, what seems so simple to explani does not mean anything once the bell rings.

I believe that when the fight of Gamboa/Lopez gets on, I will be on my countryman's side, but I would not bet against Gamboa either. Both are very special fighters and will make a hell of a match. I can truly see a future trilogy between these 2.

I believe Gamboa is the better fighter, just as much power as Juanma but faster and more accurate. Juanma was somewhat exposed by Mtagwa for having stamina issues and a questionable chin. Gamboa takes Juanma out within 6.

Precisely why I think Yuri stops him.

Hes not tentative like Steven either.

What I really liked about Gamboa tonight,

the way he didn't just rush in for the kill when his man was hurt, hes finally let it come naturally.

It's sad that this fight will probably never happen.

No way Arum let's this happen. If both fighters continue to be undefeated, it won't happen. If Arum is one day removed from the picture, then yes it happens. I think Gamboa wants Lopez anyway.

Much improved Juanma we saw at 26, Gamboa keeps improving as well. Gamboa got the better overal skills but is a bit chinny. Interesting fight, get it done!
