See I dont have a problem with this, Because Gamboa can actually win.

Gamboa is just so damn fast. His athleticism reminds me of a mini Roy Jones. Kinda like when you hear Roy only looked good fighting bums, nobody else looked that impressive beating those same bums. I don't doubt Juanma was weight drained, but he was still a good fighter that night. Gamboa could be too athletic for Juanma that man has something special.

I still can't believe that fight. Caballero completely outclassed Molitor. I'd love to see Caballero face either of these guys. That's be awesome.

I think Gamboa messes him up.

                Nice Avy..who's that?!..

but I agree..Gamboa can beat Lopez..but like I said in another thread..

NSB never fails to overrate..write off..and discredit after a couple fights where fighters either lose or face adversity..that's why this site SUCKS but the comedy of most of the people who do this is addicting!!..

Kellerman said it best.."Lopez didn't look as impressive as Gamboa..but comparing opponents..Lopez had the better win"..

Gamboa was just an overrated hypejob 3 fights ago when he was getting tagged and dropped by no named ass journeymen and bums..now he's the second coming of RJJr??!..

Now I'm not sayin Gamboa doesn't have the talent or potential..I just find it amazing how people jump ship so quickly and either hop on or right the **** off the bandwagon after only a couple performances..

It's a shame to consider half of you boxing fans..those who look at Lopez' KO ratio feel that he should KO every opponent in the 1st with a jab!..he's got heart and skill to go along with that power..so because he doesn't KO them early doesn't mean his best years are gone..most of you go off the notion that "styles make fights" most of you swear by it even..but when it comes down to it..you wanna claim one is overrated or the next Ali depending on what bandwagon you guys feel like hopping on..I knew this was coming after I saw Mtagwa-Gamboa where I was very impressed..but remember who Mtawga is before claiming he's already an ATG..he's a journeyman..period!..**** it..I'm out!

But the stoppage in the Mtagwa fight was VERY premature. It was surprising coming from Smoger. Maybe it was my angle, but it seemed real premature. Either way Gamboa was lights out, and the outcome was inevitable.

Lopez looked solid. Luevano is a tough guy to look good against, and I think Lopez did as good a job as he could have.
The stoppage was perfect dude. I thought Mtagwa was out on his legs the entire first round.

He was not even in the fight. He was out on his feet most of the second round too.

                  Mtagwa is beyond done.

WTF? Juanma just stopped a guy who had never been stopped, was a champion with 5 defenses and ranked #2 in the world at FeatherWeight in his first fight in the weight.

                      Give me a ****ing break!!!
Whatever. Let em' make conspiracy theories out of it. All the better..from what I saw, when it comes time, I'll take Juanma and hopefully w/odds...
