So they DON'T test for EPO.

Well that pretty much shot to **** the "Its detectable in urine" theory. What good is that, if they aren't even testing for it?

NSAC are the one's to blame for it reaching this point. All the power is in their hands now though. Even if it taking for Mayweather of all people, to help clean up the sport.

Originally random blood and urine Olympic style testing up until day of the fight. During mediation he proposed a 14 day cutoff for blood testing, supposedly Manny wanted 24 days.

"And he could use it without regard for being caught because they weren't testing it -- and there is a urine-based test for most EPO."

              Your understanding is wrong.

He agreed to testing all the way up to 24 days near the fight. He didn't agree to the 14 days to the fight. By 14 days that means he has 14 days before the fight to start using PEDs (not saying he is) but NOT the months prior leading to that because of all the random testing going on BEFORE that.

You misunderstood the post and misinterpreted the 14 day thing. The Mayweather camp was trying to slim down his window of being able to use PEDs for training. By slimming it down to a 14 day window, Pacquiao would have been able to use PEDs for only 14 days prior to the fight which would not have been as effective as a whole month's worth of PED usage.

I watched a doco once about Olympic steroid testing, and a tester basically said they turned a blind eye for a top US sprinter when he got caught. Same guy got caught AGAIN and that time they took away his medals.

Is Pacquiao that ****** so as to turn away a $40m fight because he doesnt want to be told what to do.He asked for many conditions including the date and Floyd only asked for the tests.WHat's difficult about taking the tests. What you forget is people who dope take a concotion of drugs for training and fighting. The 14day window was a joke because Manny himself contradicts himself about the effect of the blood. He says he gets affected for 4 days so what's the deal with 14days?
