Toney woulda beat the overrated Hopkins.

Too many of you guys are judging Toney's footwork and overall ability on how he has done at HW. Toney in the lower weights was a throw back fighter. Your NOT going to outsmart Toney. Toney has a better defense than Hopkins who heavily relies on holding.

Toney also has a better transition between defense and offense.

i see hopkins attempting his little right and lead, toney shoulder rolling and countering with his own right, probabley stiff legging hopkins at some point

hopkins would have trouble holding onto toney that spun his shoulder and hit you with a right uppercut or somethin on your way into a clinch

I think this fight comes down to natural talent, and an in shape Toney would not be out thought and out fought, he was better than Hopkins. Great fight, Toney gets the UD.

Hopkins does not win this easily. I'd actually favor a prime Toney over Hopkins I think. It would be a close fight IMO.
