I don't think you got what I meant.....even the aesthetics of movements, the flow....the techniques and all.

What the MMA lack is the discipline and crispness of their techniques, I humbly think.

Boxing....from Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Mayweather are those, very fine. Doesn't mean that other boxers like Pacquiao aren't great but just different mind set.

And so the "ground and pound" prevalent in the MMA is just one of the very reasons that tick me off from it.

I think the title of this thread is misleading, Jackie doesn't say he hates MMA or that it should be banned, he just doesn't like how UFC uses the cage and the dominance of the ground and pound tactic (which I personally I'm not a fan of either)

Screw Chuck, Sammo Hung (who fights Lee in the beginning of Enter The Dragon) owns him. Martial Law was a better show than Walker Texas Ranger.

If you could let me go off topic for the moment concerning these videos:

There's nothing wrong with putting MMA moves in movies if you ****e it up like what Donnie Yen did in Flashpoint:

Does this look gay too you?

Let's face if you a movie about combat sport realistically it will be boring, even boxing movies. Compared to Rocky and Raging Bull, Ali vs Frazier isn't as exciting to watch.

As far as theatrics, I'd put Jackie over Bruce absolutely.

As a fighter? No F'n way...Bruce >>>>>>>>> Jackie. Jackie even talked once about a little fued both he and Bruce had during the times where Jackie was a stunt worker for Bruce (Fist of Fury, Enter the Dragon), but he also said Bruce was 100% legit and would beat him in a fight, Norris said the same.
