.... it's seriously disrepectful to even think about mentioning UFC cage fighting around the likes of Chan. Good god, guys.

I tend to think the latter.

You'd be dead trying to do a quarter of a fraction of half of what Jackie has done, *****.

You're taking this very badly, I didn't say Jackie Chan was crap at what he does, in fact I like his movies.

He is a great stuntman and wushu practitioner but there is a difference in what he does to what a martial artist does, that is all.

Actually he practices, Chinese opera, which is a combination of opera, dancing, acrobatics and martial art stances. Jackie later did train in martial arts, first in Northern Style then a bit of Southern Style. Then he trained in Hapkido (basically the high kicking part of it). Around the 80's I believe, he gained backgrounds in both Karate and Judo and finally he's taken up and still does Boxing workout, which if you noticed in his movies like Wheels On Meals and Gorgeous is one his preferred stances, which was different from most Hong Kong martial art stars at the time.

All brawn, and no skills. Bob Sapp is a joke, he even had the nerve to challenge Iron Mike.

He takes elements from different styles to imitate them. If you look at most of the big names in Chinese martial arts movies they have come from the same or similar opera schools.

Please dont **** wit Jackie Chan. He is my idol and he is right about MMA. When a man is down stop fighting. MMA is professional bar brawling period. Calling MMA a Martial Art is a discrace to the spirit of real Martial Arts.

Back in the hood we would beat your ass, if you hit someone when they was down or nor longer defending themself. That's called a punk as move, you just don't do it.

So don't get it twisted the Brothers like Jackie Chan too.

Are we talkin about Jackie Chan who learned martial arts from the beijing opera and not a real kung fu master???

It's like asking Jean Claude Van damme who's actually a ballerina and not a martial artist at all what he thinks of boxing or mma.

Actually Van Damme took up Karate at a very young age and competed in karate tournaments, which was under his real name of course.
