As for what I stated earlier it really does not matte to me what the common person in Asia thinks but I understand your point. Different cultures have different points of view to me it MAKES NO SENSE but to someone from a different back round it does. The only flaw in this otherwise flawless theory is that Berto pulled out of the Mosley fight Lefty,I think this fight is actually owed directly to Manny taking on Clottey,who to die hard fight fans is a legit foe!!Added to the fact that Mosley had buisness elsewhere & floyd was without a legit fight,no,he didn't plan it,he just got Lucky,Lefty!!

Like what I said, both have valid arguments.
It is the meeting of both sides in the middle that would catapult towards the FIGHT FOR THE AGES. Meanwhile, how can pacquiao match the media's blitz by Mayweather? For one thing, Pacquiao is already seen as a threat and a "foreigner"...much to the blow towards our American sensibilities and pride in boxing.
But as a Filipino-American, I am in both camps. I understand both camps and not partial to Pacquiao. Just hoping that they meet in the middle.Comment

The part of Mosley being freed up was lucky. But as I posted earlier may have been helped along by GBP and some step aside money. Not trying to take away from the fact that Berto lost alot in this trageic event but he didn;t lose any face by steppign aside. Yes but 10-20 years from now all the common man is going to remember is this part. Slice it anyway you like it for 40 million dollars some people would kill over it much less take a blood test. You cannot change my point of view no matter how thick your Pacquiao goggles

I don't know why you think you can see into the future and tell what common man will think.
I don't think that will be the case at all. People tend to remember the best of moments and 30 years from now only the knowledgeable historians will know why this fight didn't happen. Who ducked who, Jones or Marius? It doesn't matter what really happened because the people loved Jones and are gonna take his side.
When history comes back and look at Mayweather vs Pacman (if it doesn't occur, which is highly unlikely) they are going to remember from a biased point of view. And most likely the common fan is gonna like Pacman more than Mayweather.Comment
