I like laying out possible outcomes and reasons for things happening...Being an agent of chaos is fun sometimes. Truly I think it will all pan out once Shane and Mayweather get face to face for the stare down at the weigh in you know it won't really matter that he fought Marquez or did not fight this one. People have short term memories it is what have you done for me lately you know. A game of chess is one move at a time thinking 3 moves in front , Floyd has it all over Manny in the thinking department , pity there wasnt more time because Floyd would have fought Mosley on the 13th and sunk Mannys fight like the titanic .

I would have loved it, but even with plenty of time it´s not business wise to split PPV´s

His last three moves have been genius IMO. He has been shaping this fight from the very begining.

1) His first come back fight he takes on JMM. People call him a cherry picker amongst other things. This was done for one reason to obtain better bargaining leverage at the negotiations table. He takes out JMM in pretty easy fashion thus eliminating a public demand for a PAC vs JMM III.

2) He demands RANDOM TESTING for the fight with PAC on 3/13. When PAC made it a bigger thing than originally intended he puts an * next to PACS name in many of the common fans eyes. Thus the only fighter who is possibly compared to him as the BEST OF THIS ERA in many people eyes may have cheated. Even if he didn't walking away from 40 million in comparision to just giving blood RAISED some eyebrows.

3) He keeps his demand for RANDOM TESTING and says he is going to use it in every fight going forward to "CLEAN UP BOXING" PAC announces a fight with Clottey anther TOP RANK promoted fighter for the 3/13 date. NO SUCH TESTING is required. People are leaning back towards PAC and a good fight Floyd is left in limbo with out a dance partner. (no pun intended)

4) 1/18/09 Berto with draws from match with Mosley for Jan 30th date. Now possible match up between Floyd and Mosley lands in Floyds lap. Whether it goes down on March 13th or May1st undecided. But he puts the demand out there for RANDOM DRUG TEST with an admitted ROID user. (whether he knew about it or not he did admit it sorry Shane) Floyd can ink this deal he goes one up on Manny and also eliminates another potential opponent for Manny post his 3/13 date and inches himself a little closer to cornering Manny and shifting momentum back to GBP and himself at the negotiations table.

Good points bro, I do believe mayweather has the intelligence and business acumen to have a plan like this in place from the start. But I'm edging more toward the fact he's breaking pac down mentally with the rood accusations. He must be getting to Pacquiao by now, and this is negativity that causes people to lose focus. Mayweather has the brains to see this, hence why he winds up his fighters but remains focussed on fight night
