The article is extremely flawed and fundamentally incorrect in the conclusion that Khan has left the UK because of racism, but it does touch upon the very real problem that a decent minority of Britain's working class are becoming disillusioned and racist as a result. They are concerned about the number of immigrants coming into Britain and the threat this poses to the job market. Of course, the level of immigration is merely a part of the problem, but it is the part of the problem that is easiest to understand and easiest to notice. The real villains are the irresponsible bankers who have sunk the British economy (with a little help from their American friends) and the current government for pandering to the financial sector for the past decade. It doesn't help that the media turn every extremist Islam movement into a frenzy which fuels the fire.

Khan hasn't left because of racism and the picture of racial hatred the author paints is severely exaggerated, but there certainly is a racist undercurrent in parts of the working class towards Asian immigrants and Britons of Asian descent, but no more so than the majority of Western countries.

A non-White, British friend of mine from England (he is biracial like David Haye) said that the anti-Black and anti-Asian racism in England is horrendous.

Apparently they have this thing called 'positive discrimination' whereby Asian ******s are not allowed to even apply for certain top jobs.

It's disgusting.
