!I would say that many in the UK dislike Khan and his team for all the bollocks that surrounds his career.

His PPV fights long before he'd done anything to justify a PPV fight

The fact that he was moved up from 135 purely cause he had zero chance of getting a belt there, then got bought a belt by facing the poorest belt holder at 140. Where was he ranked at 140 to deserve that shot?

Before the Kotelnik fight was even made, khan was asked who he thought was the poorest belt holder out there...he answered Kotelnik...then the fight gets made and Khan says he's a tough challenge and a great fighter....

Who has he fought? a washed up Barerra who was fed to him purely to say to Joe public that Khan succeeded where Prince Naseem had failed.

He should have had a rematch with Prescott...no doubt Warren wouldn't let that happen but Khan gobbing off telling us ***in was a worthy opponant is laughable!

We then come to Salita, his mandatory. Khan comes out and says he doesn't want picked fights, he wants to face his mandatorys....LOLita gets KOd and Roach says 'we fear no one'....no one that is except the next mandatory!!!!

In Khan's own words, he says he'll be ready for Mayweather by the end of 2010!

    Nothing to do with race.

many want to like Khan and wish he'd face someone who's going to challenge him and stop fighting guys who have no power or are a lot shorter

Like every country the UK has racists but there aren't many, the hate is because he received too much hype. Khan was hyped up by the media as the next big thing, everyone knew who he was before he even made his pro debut. This got the people that don't follow boxing and know nothing about the sport watching his fights on free TV. Khan kept beating the bums they put in front of him and his hype grew and he was getting 10+ million viewers watching his fights. The viewers that know nothing about the sport thought that he was fighting good opponents and winning easily, so they all started thinking that Khan was a world class fighter. Khan started to become arrogant regularly saying that "I'm going to be the youngest British world champion ever" etc and that made some people not like him, but most believed what he was saying, because in their eyes he was one of the best boxers in the world. When he lost to Prescott it made the fans that know nothing about boxing feel that they had been fooled and the press that had built Khan up quickly changed and started to tear him down, Khan was now the punch line of almost every new joke and a lot of people that had supported Khan and felt they had been fooled started to hate him.

Not most but in thought yeah. Only a few will have the guts and actually do that out of the racists. There are decent people too but the lower classes are something like that. Kids and everything.

                    No.

                    Money has lured him out.

He has fans all over Britain, not just in the Asian community. The young Asian community see him as a hero, somebody they can relate to - a role model. Generally, the non-Asian community are make up most of his boxing fans, people that respect his accomplishments and recognize his talents. These are the people that buy his fights on PPV and attend them. He's had great receptions where-ever he's went; London, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle.

But there's only so much money you can earn in the UK. He's 23 and has many years and many fights ahead of him. The move to the USA was the right thing to do.
