    Why Can't Mayweather Fight Cotto?

I mean, I wouldn't mind seeing it. It's a good matchup in terms of styles and Pacquiao is fighting the guy Cotto beat...Clottey is a C level fighter I mean that's a guy who wasn't even good enough to be Paulie Malignaggi's sparring partner. It would do good in PPV's more than 1 million for sure. And, Cotto can say that he lost to 2 fighters with questionable circumstances.

Cotto would be a good fight for later on the year. It would do a lot of ppv if he beat Yuri.

Cotto has taken a lot of bad beatings and I'm not sure how meaningful a may cotto fight would be at this point. Its a shame it didnt happen in 2007

cotto just got beaten by Pac...wouldnt look good on floyds part if he took this fight now. it would seem that he waited until after cotto took a couple of beatings to finally face him.

I wouldn't be looking for Top Rank to make any deal with Mayweather that doesn't involve Pacquiao. Also there is very little upside for Floyd now that Cotto is considered damaged goods. This match would make just a fraction of the money it would have before Cotto's two losses.

Honestly, your thread loses all cred when you post crap like the bold. Sharpen your tools son.
