Bute please. Allen Green would be an acceptable second.

I'm glad that Jermain withdrew. He really, really needs to recover.

I respect Taylor for having the balls to admit he can't do it anymore.

Although, I don't think he was ever that good. One very controversial over Hopkins doesn't make you a world class fighter.

I think Bika would be a good replacement. The guy comes to fight and will give any of these guys a tough fight. Obviously, everyone is gona want Bute!

              I like Taylor.

But he was unlikely to get KO'd again so there was no harm in just carrying on I don't think.

There's pretty big spaces of time between fights these days so I don't get the whole rest thing so much. You could make the case all he's likely to do is get rusty, older, slower, and lose any likelyhood of landing decent fights. No point.

                good for jermaine,
                and
                good for the tournament.

any one of these four would work...

                bute
                andrade
                green
                bika

and, although, bute would be the best
he's kind of a prima dona who wants to
                "fight the winner"

                oh well,
                either way... WE WIN !

the fans finally win one! wheeee

If it wasn't for Pavlik knocking our Miranda the trip would've been a waste. Jermain is a good guy but he sucks ass now.
You know, you should show the guy a little more respect. All he did was go out there and fight his heart out. He never ducked anyone and he gave the fans 100% effort. He can't help how Spinks fought. Rightly or wrongly, he was the undisputed middleweight champ. Who else would've fought Hopkins twice and follow it up with Winky Wright?? Yeah, I thought the same thing.

The better question is: what have you accomplished in your life other than talk crap on a message board??

To JT, love ya man. A huge fan and I respect your decision and wish you the best.

Come on man Jermain did not deserve it the only reason why he was picked as an opponent for AA was the fact that he was not the same fighter anymore. I feel sad for him

Good move, Taylor has been through hell. He has been fighting the best for a while now, some fighters should take a lesson.
