Please don't compare them Floyds, they are nothing alike as fighters. On a curious note, what was used to be called "finess" now it's plain "running". Funny who things change...

If Ray had problems with Benitez defense then he would have major problems with Floyd. The difference is Floyd is a much better offensive fighter than Benitez and better counterpuncher.

Benitez made Ray miss a lot in there fight but he wasnt the best counterpuncher. He punched wide.

lmfao.............don't ever compare pbf to srl. srl's resume ****'s on pbf's. without equality you can not even dare compare.

          Hahahahahaha

          That's too ****ing much.

Rating fighting skills is too subjective so you have your opinion and everybody have theirs. so maybe we can take a look at their Records. I'll start with their Championship runs.

If you wanna talk about a matchup between the two though I think its a good conversation...

I agree with you, also with pernell defense, I see PBF a lot better.

cmon Leonards offense game is ages ahead of Floyd. Floyd has good defense but the caliber of fighters Leonard had to get past like Duran, Hearns , and Hagler dont even compare to Floyds competition.

Leonard would make floyd look like **** if they exchanged. Even the most slickest fighters like Benitez couldnt beat Leonard. His punches are far more powerful than Floyds too

Hey, where's Oscar?! Oscar was still the lineal 154 champion after taking it from Mayorga. Yes I agree Leonard resume is greater but skillwise i can't say Floyd isn't on the same level. And I'm sorry if i don't think the resume's comparison's to be that funny, even as you put it.

Someone who never gets hit against no one? Well Floyd is closer to perfection in that department, but he certainly is not the best ever, especially since defence is just one side of the fighting game. And Floyd did get hit, against as was proven later a not as great as marketed opposition. So, I dont really like the whole "perfect" side, no one is perfect. Floyd might be the most optimal fighter in the game, if you only value, safety first approach of fighting, but I dont. Frankly, I think that if Leonard fought DLH, he would have went for a kick ass finish in that 12th and outbrawl and possibly stop Oscar, if the fight was close. I like that attitude better.
And there is no hate here either. Cause I do consider Floyd to be the best "P4P" fighter in the game.

This is a pretty good post that I agree with for the most part. I think I factor skills...

Offense, Defense, Stamina, Chin, Smarts, Speed, Reflexes, Footwork, Ring Generalship, and Technique.

Thats Mayweather Jr...he literally combines ALL of that.
