Lol I wouldn't go that far, but I did catch Lenard Vs Hagler the other night.

Sugar Ray Lenard did more holding and running than PBF has ever done in his life. I say Lenard had more power & better footwork in his career, but that's about it, Floyd is better at everything else.

Leonard's defense isn't nearly like Floyd's and Hoya tried combos on Floyd. Shoulder rolled them and countered. Not saying he'd do the same to Leonard's but he just might...

Thats the thing, what is a perfect fighter? Someone who would be scoring first round knockouts all through out a career against everyone possible in every division he fought, without ever losing even in a second? Well, Floyd ain't that. Someone who never gets hit against no one? Well Floyd is closer to perfection in that department, but he certainly is not the best ever, especially since defence is just one side of the fighting game. And Floyd did get hit, against as was proven later a not as great as marketed opposition. So, I dont really like the whole "perfect" side, no one is perfect. Floyd might be the most optimal fighter in the game, if you only value, safety first approach of fighting, but I dont. Frankly, I think that if Leonard fought DLH, he would have went for a kick ass finish in that 12th and outbrawl and possibly stop Oscar, if the fight was close. I like that attitude better.
And there is no hate here either. Cause I do consider Floyd to be the best "P4P" fighter in the game.

Out of curiosity, did people used to call Leonard a runner? I wouldn't but you know people... Fact is he "ran" allot more than Floyd ever did. Currently watching the second Duran fight. If Floyd ever did that he'd be booed to hell. Curiously people don't seem to be booing Leonard at all!

He didn't run against Hearns, a big puncher than Duran.

I think Floyd could give Leonard a good fight and frustrate him at times but Leonard is too big and just as fast...
