I had to use google to find out what "perennial" means, way to underscore my self-confidence. "coolface"

come on now Ray Leonard was a bad man i love Floyd but Leonard had them combinations Floyd defense wouldn't be able to do **** with them coming at you but i think it would be a split decision for which one i don't know but it would be a close fight

But Floyd is literally a perfect fighter. Hate him all you want. He is the most skilled, talented and gifted fighter to ever box.

        PERIOD.
That's what i meant, i mean seeing both inside the ring i jumped to that conclusion... Of course Leonard had Duran, Hagler and Hearns around.. Foyd had Oscar, Hatton, Marquez and earlier Corrales but i recon those guys aren't anything like Hagler, Hearns and Duran, specially Hagler who was a great fighter on his own. Still in boxing ability i think Floyd is pretty accurate when he says he's the greatest. Hoya is pretty close to Hagler though.

Naw he only picked Hagler because he seen him slowing down...

He wanted no parts of Hagler or Pryor.

honestly, has Floyd fought someone, at least, have the height, reach & powerful KO puncher like Hearns?

Leonard's defense isn't nearly like Floyd's and Hoya tried combos on Floyd. Shoulder rolled them and countered. Not saying he'd do the same to Leonard's but he just might...

I think its a even fight. I dont think ray dominates Floyd like many think. Floyd actually has the more experience because he fought longer, trained longer. Ray was basically 1978-1982 then the long layoff. I could see Floyd blocking Ray's combos just like he did to Oscar when he threw those flurries that weren't landing.

PPl forget Ray didnt exactly dominate Benitez or Duran that 2nd fight and he got hit a little to much in that 1982 Ayub Kalule fight. No way should Kalule have hit Ray that much as slow as he was. I doubt Kalule lands a glove on Floyd. Dude was slow

That is dog**** you heard on Legendary Nights.

Look at the betting odds for that fight and tell me Leonard was even remotely close to being the favorite.

People literally feared for Leonard's life.

Hagler was a bad man who wrecked Hearns and the Beast Mugabe just before that, and those cats were ****in prime.

Don't sell me that line. I ain't buying that one.

SRL is my boy because he's from the area. He's clearly a better WW as he is huge there and is his natural weight but P4P I think they are pretty even. Everyone says that SRL would kill Floyd but you can tell they are just looking at it from a WW match which is dumb. If you want to compare them then do it P4P and Floyd more than holds his own in that regard with him or Hearns. Floyd at SFW is just as good as they are at WW and I think he has looked better at higher weights then they have

Out of curiosity, did people used to call Leonard a runner? I wouldn't but you know people... Fact is he "ran" allot more than Floyd ever did. Currently watching the second Duran fight. If Floyd ever did that he'd be booed to hell. Curiously people don't seem to be booing Leonard at all!
