there was no way for him to check if the info is reliable.

plus tim smith reported the same thing , so you know someone was telling the story (whether it's true or not)

we don't know who his source is.

they're part of the negotiations. they would know. they would be considered reliable sources.

Yes i saw and read it but its a complaint from Team Pacqauio's lawyer, Not a statement from the writer of the article or anything else, Its just says the allegation is untrue, The judge HAD to decide if its true or not.

If the case starts and they ask Tim smith for evidence and he cannot provide one then the judge would say it was untrue, Then Tim Smith would have to print an apology in his daily paper or pay Pacquiao some compensation.

Until then NO-ONE knows if its true or not, If Tim smith provide emails to the effect that Team Pacquiao did indeed send Team Mayweather the email then what happens???

1. if tim smith had a copy of that email. he would have printed it. atlas would have done the same.

2. if it is true , pacquiao's team would not have dared put it in their court papers.

if it was common knowledge , something he can research , he wouldn't need an anonymous source.

teddy atlas never stated it was a fact.

he never claimed that that is what happened.

he cited a source and what the source told him.

Had no reliable solid proof anyway. didnt think much of that accusation...This whole thing falling apart is Pacs camps fault...Not his...Roach and Arum.. Pac said he was fine taking the tests up to a week or so to the fight, so did roach...plenty of times..I think when Arum caught on to what was the only demand of mayweather basically, he pounded the idea into pac and roaches head that they are the macho bunch and shouldn't budge...Even with all the BS excuses and lies frm roach i would place most of the blame on Arum for this fight falling apart

2) I have seen alot of people going to court even though they knew they were guilty as hell, Pacqauio going to court to me doesnt mean he is clean

How many examples have we seen over the years of sport people,politician going to court only to be exposed for lying??? plenty! So am glad they're going to court because when push comes to shoved then everything would come out in the open.
