  • Rumors of "dirty penalties" are un true and was "leaked by the Mayweather associates"

"37. On Decemeber 25, 2009, the New York Daily News reported that:

According with sources familiar with talks, Pacquiao's representative asked what penalties....

    38. This is untrue and, on information was leaked by Myweather, Jr. and his representatives to further destroy Pacquiao's professional credibility and reputation"

I believe this more than the BS that Altas leaked. Disappointing, I knew Floyd never really wanted to fight Manny, and only drag it for the sake of tarnishing his image.

if pacquiao's people are willing to write down on a legal document filed in federal court that that offer was never made by team pacquiao to team mayweather......

i think i'll trust their word over an "anonymous source".

i just find in interesting that the "source" referred to an email from team pacquiao to team mayweather.

if that email was to team mayweather , wouldn't that mean that the source is a member of team mayweather? or at least received their information from team mayweather?

      that's reliable.

Looks like Atlas was pretty irresponsible here.

Mayweather's fan always used rumors as basis of their debate

          They always twist facts.

Yeah, Atlas's sources are scarce when it comes to having a robust information and reliability. If this is true, Atlas and Smith (who is a respected journalist) will disappoint me. You guys are meant to give facts, and if you're giving opinion back it up by facts not sources that are ultimately could be wrong.

              not really.

              it's his job.

when a reporter has information , it's their duty to report it.

they have a responsibility to make sure it's reliable though.

i'm sure teddy thought it was reliable.

why would he think it was reliable? more than likely the source is part of the negotiations.

source was a member of team mayweather.

he never said it was a fact , he just reported the information he got and stated it was from a reliable souce.

if the source was team mayweather , it's still considered a reliable source even if the information they gave was not reliable.

That's definitely damaging if found untrue.

                    they weren't giving opinion.

they were stating information from a source.

if the source was a member of team mayweather , they have to consider the source reliable since team mayweather is part of the negotiations right?

now the information itself might not be reliable.

pacquiao's lawyers filed this in their lawsuit. if this goes to court , we'll find out who was lying and who was telling the truth.
