99% of the boxing community laughed at Amir Khan that day. A young kid who just had his brain pulverised. And the only reason the want to see him fight Maidana is to laugh at him when he hits the canvas again. I would rather not see that happen. I want to watch a fight based on glory and respect, rather than a chance to laugh at a young mans downfall.
Khan has had a chance to turn it all around under Roach. He should be commended for coming back from that loss and winning a world title but he can't hide under the rock and hope all the big punchers go away. He'll get no respect for it. That's boxing.

Khan can easily shut the haters the fuck up by having the courage to get in there with the big puncher and get it done.

What can the 'Haters' say then?

He will get respect you'd just rather believe that he wont because you dont really want him to fight a dangerous opponent case he gets chinned because your...........

You said Khan would get no props for beating either Bradley,Mayweather or Pacquiao, like Khan has even come close!!! to testing that theory. All fighters gets respect if they fight for it, even if its begrudgingly given, Khan fights low risk fights at the moment with little chance of getting upset.

To be fair Dynamite, there is nothing wrong with supprting your countrymen, at all. BUT in this instance, we all know that what is going on is suspect, and cherry picking, unless he proves me wrong and fights him.

Nationalistic biased should be reserved for team sports not one on one competition. Its nothing more than promoters selling the fight to people gullible enough to buy into that ****.

Nationalism means your not able to fully embrace fighters from other countries with the same affection, which in turn means you are not able to fully appreciate the art of the sport. I would never back an average domestic fighter like Jennings who has half the talent/skill of Cotto just because he is English! yet many Brits did.

That said i dont think its bad! to be naturalistic that is down to your own discretion. Im not a fan of biased!!! nationalistic Boxing fans like Timba though.

                    .

                    Exactly..

I dont really find it annoying that British fans support their countrymen in an of itself. It's the fact that they support them doing pansy ass things like ducking fights, dropping belts, or running from neanderthals for 12 rounds straight that makes it so unbearable.

Would you stand and trade with a 7' 2'' monster, or do what it takes to get the belt around your waist?
