if this fight happens.manny has never been in front of this kind of fighter.floyd has seen bigger and just as quick southpaws like manny before.but pac has never seen anything like this in his whole entire career.after round 3 this will be a straight up beat down.easy work for pbf.

Grandson: Yeah grandpa, I read about that fight before. Wasn't there some sort of contravercy about that fight.

Man: Well, before they actually put the fight together Mayweather and his people beleived Pacquiao was on some sort of illegal performance enhance drugs and they wanted him to take some kind of tests before they fought.

Grandson: Did Pacquiao take the tests? Did they ever find something wrong?

Man: Well, Pacquiao never took the tests the Mayweathers wanted.

Grandson: Why didn't he take the tests?

        Man: (Shrugs his shoulders).

Grandson: Oh, so don't really know for sure if he was using something illegal?

        Man: I guess.

        End of conversation.
        Brilliant post!

looks to me that Manny is the one trying to play it safe BUT
          that is just my opinion.
Asking for a penalty per pound stipulation is smart considering what Floyd did to little JMM. Also he would be fighting Foreman at a heavier weight for a LMW title. Floyd doesn't hold any title so why would Pac agree to fight him at a heavier weight when they can fight for Pac's MW title? Floyd is the one making ****** demands regarding unusual blood tests, surely the tests currently being done in boxing work otherwise every boxer would be on PED's.

You sir are correct and I think Freddie Roach already said the
exact same thing but in a different way.

"We'll have a change in sparring partners and style because Mayweather is so different than our last four opponents [Cotto, Ricky Hatton, De La Hoya and David Diaz]. We have to study him really hard. But I know Mayweather really well. I just need Manny to see what I see." Freddie Roach.

              Larry Merchant?..
the same Larry Merchant that said "Baldomir will be trouble for Mayweather..I see him losing this fight"

The same Larry Merchant that said
"Floyd Mayweather will NEVER reach the plateau of a De Lahoya as far as money or PPV numbers go
              "

The same Larry Merchant that speaks negative of Mayweather every fight..

Larry Merchant has a deep hatred for Mayweather...he always bashes him..
I remember one time in specific..Roy Jones Jr. and Larry Merchant had an on-air argument about Mayweather during one of his fights..where Roy had to tell him along the lines "youve never been in the ring before..I have...if you ever fought in the ring you would know what Im talking about..Mayweather is a slick boxer..dont try to take nothing away from him.." ..Merchants response.."Roy..I think we can both have an opinion without having to pull rank"..lmao

I take anything Merchant says w/ a grain of salt. he is very biased..and he loathes Mayweather...

exactly what i think. why wouldn't he want him tested right after the fight so he still gets the payday and if he loses and IF manny is on roids than it will discredit the loss. Its either psychological game playing or he truly is scared to fight him and after manny's last couple fights, i would go with the latter. I think there is a chance floyd could win but you guys that think this will be an easy fight for him are just so dumb and ignorant. If it was that easy and floyd was that great than he would have cleaned out the welterweight division a long time ago. All floyd would have had to do is beat 3 or 4 guys and he would have been a top 3 great of all time. Instead he retired at 30.

My point is, why would Manny be concerned with fighting a smaller
Floyd coming in a lil heavier than usual but want to move up to 154
and fight a naturally bigger guy in Yuri Foreman? The tests are not
****** to demand considering they find out if you are taking after
the fight instead of before. Shannon Briggs just got caught using
enhancements in his come back after the fight. The had to change
his win to a no contest. If you are being tested randomly before then
there is no room for anyone to cheat before the fight to get caught
                    after.
