I had Collazo pulling it out by a point, but I gained a **** load of respect for Berto. He had his chance to show what he is made of deep down inside, and hes a true warrior. Maybe a little to much dog in him for his own good, but it sure is exciting for us.
I rewatched Berto/Collazo on HBO last night

I am really surprised that so many of you think Berto won and clearly nonetheless...but he did land eye catching shots in some rounds I scored for Collazo. I did so due to his inside work even if the shots didn't appear damaging because they were scoring points and he landed a **** load of them. I just cannot discount that and give Berto a round he was losing because he lands a flashy 3 punch combo.Comment

Andre Berto doesn't go past 8 rounds with Mosleyand I still had it 8-4 for Collazo and still don't know what some of you are talking about on here being critical of that score when I have discussed it in the past
The only rounds Berto clearly won were 2,5,8,&12, all others either Collazo won or could have been debated and I gave them to Collazo due to him being busier. So if you disagree with that then I just don't know what to tell you or how Berto could have gotten a draw even forget about winning.

There was a poll and most had Collazo winning. I had Berto winning by a round but it could have gone either way. Berto finished strong, very strong and that might have made the difference.I am really surprised that so many of you think Berto won and clearly nonetheless...but he did land eye catching shots in some rounds I scored for Collazo. He did finish strong and certainly won the 12th, Collazo was gassed at that point.Comment

Yea, it all depends on what you look for when scoring a fight.
Me, I only factor in pressure when it's a close round and they've landed almost the same amount of punches. But for the most part I go by who lands more punches, harder punches.
Berto's punches were significantly sharper, and he landed A LOT more. Look at the final compubox numbers. Not that that means everything, but it's a decent indication.Comment

I scored the fight clearly in Collazo's favor. He did more clean work than Berto. I think I had it 8 - 4 or 7 -5 the worst in Collazo's favor.Comment

instead of making a new thread a taking valuable first page space away from Pac and May, I'll ask in here. Other than this fight what others Berto fights are good to watch?
This is the only fight of his I've seen.Comment
