Their first fight wasn't close,Morales got his backside handed to him.Their second fight was close due to Barrera's inactivity during the earlier rounds, but he came back strong in that fight and Morales couldn't handle him.
Let's be realistic here,Barrera was always Morales daddy.
Barrera got jobbed in his rematch with Junior Jones too.
One of Barreras great accomplishments (imo the most notable) was having the trilogy nod over Morales. IF you take that away from him by downplaying Morales then that just downplays Barrera's resume. Dont turn it in to that, they were both great

Two convincing victories and a close decision tells us who the better fighter between the two were.Morales had three shots and always came up short against a much better, more complete fighter than himself.
Take away the Pacquiao victory and you have very little.Barrera's victory over Hamed was certainly a whole lot greater than any other victory Morales picked up.
Morales won the second fight. The first fight was close even though you can probably make a case for Barrera, but Barrera's face looked messed up like Erik's face did and he had a big cut on his cheek. You're acting like all these fights were wipe outs. Morales probably could've beaten Barrera in the third fight, but a combination of Barrera's skinned gloves and desire to bounce back from that Pac loss probably played a factor. I don't like Barrera, but I don't make threads bashing him or taking away from his accomplishments like you're doing with Morales. You're the biggest tick on this site.
Barrera's gloves weren't skinned in that fight. They were taped properly in the third Morales fight.
If anything, Morales had an advantage in the glove department as Barrera had to wear Winning gloves.

I didnt say Barrera was the lesser of the two, I just said you dont have to downplay Morales to make your point. I think Barrera > Morales but I dont have to call Morales a little ***** in doing so.

Prime Morales was a machine..
This is your case for Morales having such a great resume? Nevermind the washed up Kevin Kelley and the two other Mexicans who are nothing more than fill in gaps for Mayweather's resume
