Then why did his "daddy" Marco Antonio Barrera always beat him like a red headed step child? It's quite surprising looking back on it,how inferior Morales looked in the same ring when compared to Barrera.

We all saw Barrera beat up Morales in their first fight and get robbed in a terrible decision.We saw Barrera piss away the first half of their second fight only to come back and beat up Morales quite convincingly.As for their third fight? Barrera slapped him around in a one sided bout and did so with big yellow pillows.


Morales was also clowned by Zahir Raheem and shown up by Guty Espada only to receive his signature Las Vegas gift decision.


Let's not forget that he quit either.

What does coming from a rich family have to do with anything? Surely this just proves that Barrera had more passion for the sport of boxing in that he was never in it for the money.

GTFOutta here... Barerra won the first fight but it was VERY close.. And with a fight that amazing, why diss either fighter? That's just ******. Morales should have won the 2nd fight. They messed those two decisions up. But yes, Barrera won the trilogy.

Morales has a win over Pacquiao when he wasn't at his best. The other losses can be blamed on weight issues, IMO. No way is Raheem making Morales look like that when EM is actually at 100%. Morales also steamrolled Junior Jones, who's claim to fame was being MAB's achilles heel.

Morales won the second fight. The first fight was close even though you can probably make a case for Barrera, but Barrera's face looked messed up like Erik's face did and he had a big cut on his cheek. You're acting like all these fights were wipe outs. Morales probably could've beaten Barrera in the third fight, but a combination of Barrera's skinned gloves and desire to bounce back from that Pac loss probably played a factor. I don't like Barrera, but I don't make threads bashing him or taking away from his accomplishments like you're doing with Morales. You're the biggest tick on this site.
